So, I just got hired to work at Teavana, and I was wondering where everyone else is employed, if at all, as well as what they thought about their jobs, etc. |

I work at a Jewel-Osco. It's okay I guess, some of the customers can be kind of annoying sometimes but that is to be expected. |

I don't currently have a job. My last job was working at Taco Bell as a manager. I was there for about 2 years, and it was 2 years too long. Stay away from fast food jobs

I am still looking for work, even after taking an IT course. Unfourtuently, it isnt helping me as much as I hope it would. The problem is a mix oooffffff... A) No tech jobs in my local area, other than call center jobs . B) Most of the jobs are.....Medical related/ Truck Driver C) You can only apply on-line, and you cant call to show that your really interested in the job. Im pretty well applying to anywhere I can. But No real luck as of yet. |

Congrats on the job! I've worked in fast food for these past two years. Two years that I'll never get back. Worst place to work ever, underpaid, overworked and you have to deal with ungrateful, rude customers? No thanks! |

Retail is by far one of the worst entry-level jobs, hands down. A friend almost lost a job because an elderly couple had a stick up their asses. |

I was working in a grocery store, fish area. What a mess was this. I was doing cashier, I had to prepare the fish and stuff, and then clean all this mess. I hated this job. I'll try to find something more calm. |

Produce Manager at a Kroger(Supermarket). Under a much older contract so my pay is decent. Would not recommend now with labor laws in michigan. |

951 I think just covers the Lansing area stores. I've also heard nothing good from their contracts from people transferred from that area. Our union is UFCW 876. Do you live in Michigan? O-o |

I've been working as an engineer at a semiconductor company for the past year. The work is interesting and the working conditions are great so I quite enjoy it. |

Finally ditched being a CSM at Walmart to move to another retail company over the last few months. I started in an entry-level customer service position at the same pay that I made at Walmart after two raises and a promotion. lol Walmart -_- |

Do you live in Michigan? O-o I worked at Meijer #242 and it was a fun time up until we got new management. I went from making ~$250 a week as cashier to $115 as a utility worker. It's almost a crime with how much I was robbed from them. Then I was fired and was denied union rep. Yeah, 951 sucks. |
