bulby was my fave in kanto, chikorita was my fave in johto, treecko was my fave in hoenn and again pokemon have not failed me in my love of grass starters - i voted for naetoru or wotever its really called (the grass turtle)

<s>Come to think of it I'm going to choose the Monkey, for two reasons:

Movepool: No offense, but the Grass starters are mostly rubbish in terms of movepool, especially for the fact that they're all four-legged (Treecko is an exception, he was a Grass type dream). Most four-legged Pokemon are a lot worse than Pokemon that stand on two feet. I do prefer four-legged creatures over two-legged, but I always prefer to think about the Pokemon movepool, and the strategies that the Pokemon holds. I just think the Monkey can achieve more than the turtle, as the Monkey is two legged... I think...

Speed: The turtle looks very slow, whereas the Monkey is definately going to be very fast, well, probably. I hate slow Pokemon, I can't live without speed... Speed is your key.</s>
