I have ideas about different types of pokeballs like Sleep Ball (to make pokemon sleep inside) and Freeze Ball (freezes the pokemon inside). I believe it would be quite something. Think of a frozen pokemon inside a ball-wouldn't it be interesting?? :D any ideas?

I think he means that when the pokemon gets in the ball in a capture attempt and breaks out it will have that condition

A spin on that could be that if you capture a pokemon with that status ball, and later on, it gets that status problem while fighting, it could retreat in the ball for a turn, and be healed of that status problem. This would be especially helpful for poisoned pokemon.

I think normal pokeballs work well so we don't need the "sleep" ball but your creative balls might come in useful someday.

hmm...it could also give them the immunity for it.
i.e. if someone was to use the "sleep ball" on an ekans, that ekans wouldnt be able to be put to sleep

they wouldn't make anythign like that, and if they did, it would cost alot, and probably wouldnt be good for actually catching the pokemon. And...if you catch something with it, you wont be able to use it because it will always be frozen. I still think it isn't a good idea.

I believe it is quite a good idea. Also the pokemon doesn't have to stay frozen. It's just a step which will ease the process of catching a pokemon. Think of a ball which freezes the pokemon when thrown. It is an interesting idea. Why are you so against someone using his imagination??

Maybe for different types of pokemon?
For example, net ball works best on water and grass.
Freeze ball works on Ice pokemon better.
Sleep ball works for sleep-like pokemon (Snorlax, Slakoth, Abra)

No, it's like a pokeball, I think, but it is 4x the catch rate on the type matched.

What would be cool is if there was a ball that had a very good catch rate(over Ultra's), but when you caught anything in it, it would have 1 HP and a random status ailment. Also, it would have to be very expensive(1500 pokemon bucks, what are those called anyways?).

Don't know, but then they could be burned or poisoned.
