Is there any type of guide or strategy to how Fling works? Like, what items do what, how much damage, etc.?

I think the Iron ball does ALOT of damage

one thing that works really well is poison barb. im using theif on roselia just for the barb, so i can poison the opposition!!

Never throw berries. Bad idea. Also plates hit hard.

Question. If you throw the item, is it lost forever? Or do you get it back after? I'm not risking any plates...

I bet a fossil will hit hard acting as a rock type. A toxic orb might poison and do damage to the foe.

don't be too crazy about plates, you can get more underground. just dig for a while and throw the ones you have a lot of.
