Does this look like the possibility of Gold/Silver remakes for DS to anyone else?That would be SO GOOD

I saw than they're making new versions of GSC - new gold for DS and new silver for gba.

I can understand making remakes for them, but why put them on two different systems? In my oppinion it'd be more beneficial to make them for GBA being it'd be easier to trade to/from the FRLG/RSE...speaking of which, I'm quite surprsied there was no "Lightning Yellow" or something along those lines

If they did a "Lightning Yellow" there would have to be a pikachu following you around wherever you went. and what heppens when you go to places unnaccessable on the show? Like the islands?

Anyways, I could see them doing another one of those gold Ds and Silver advance thingies, thats what they did with dungeon. It would probrably be because of the DS and how there losing sales in the GBA department. That and the fact that I know people who whavent bothered to buy DS and CANT get one because they don't have the money. Besides, you can get both legendaries in game anyways, not to mention the fact that we can get all the pokemon already. Any exclusives would be pointless.

Still, I wouln't expect news of a new game this early, we just got D/P. It would be pretty lame if all the Japanese kids decided to pick up a copy of Gold and Silver and leave everyone without totaly unbalanced trades.

Fake.. they wouldn't make a 'firegold' and 'leafsilver' after making 'firered' and 'leafgreen'.

Unfortunately, just a rumour. I think they should've remade GSC instead of RBY and made it possible to go to both Kanto and Johto and get all the Pokemon that way. Just a thought.

I would enjoy a remake, as i pretty much missed all of gsc, i basically saw pokemon as "kiddy" for a while, (despite the fact i totally destroyed rby and loved it, i dunno why i skipped out really) and didnt get back into it until a friend gave me my copy of sapphire. now i've filled the hoenn dex on sapphire, and i have all the advance generation except ruby, and both D/P.

But to be honest I don't want a remake of GSC. They're just too good for that.

there is one major hint that confirms it as a hoax, the wi-fi symbol is at the bottom, but it would still be cool if it was true

The Johto generation was definitely well-made. I hope they'll get to it eventually.

It sort of feels closed in with only one region available. In RPG's one of the main points is exploration, so the more there is, the better! I'd like to see the next generation of games to include all of the regions and to require going to all of them to catch all of the Pokemon.

That would technically be a Sinnoh game, if you noticed, Hoenn has Kanto in it, so it has 3 generations.
