Hi... new to the board, not sure where this goes...
But I've been sharing this on various forums...
Allow me to clearly state, I do not do the GTS "clone glitch" or anything of the sort. This "error" did not come from an attempt or anything like it.
Has anybody else encountered Lv.1 and Lv.100 Bidoofs on the routes north and east of Jubilife City? This really baffles me as the other surrounding pokémons range from Lv.5-Lv.13. I've caught the Lv.1 one, it requires 80639 exp. till next level, so I use Rare Candy on it and evolved into a Lv.44 Bibarel.... WTH?! Is this supposed to happen? WTH?!?! I just encountered a Lv.43 Bidoof in the tall grass JUST outside Twinleaf Town!!!
This has GOT to be wrong. It took me some time, since I did release these bugged pokémon from my inventory. Here are my phonecam pics:
This is the random encounter just north of Jubilife City, Route 204.
Here are their pokédex data:
Lv.1 Bidoof or as I have named it, Screw YOU1.
Lv.42 Screw YOU2... errr Lv.42 Bidoof
Lv.100 Screw YOU3... OTK Superpower!
I don't know what to do... I can't flee from the Lv.100 Bidoof and it just wastes my team in 6 turns, if it attacks with Superpower the whole time.
The reason why this became a "problem", when these pokémon were in my inventory, either in-party or in-storage, I was unable to trade over GTS. At first I thought they were part of the random-ness in the game, but when I encountered the Lv.42 Bidoof JUST outside Twinleaf Town, that didn't make sense to me. I can continue the game, so it seems, but anybody else experiencing this?
Allow me to repeat myself, I do not do the GTS "clone glitch" or anything of the sort. This "error" did not come from an attempt or anything like it.

Certainly not... I don't even know anybody who owns one. Cheaters may be everywhere, but I'm not one of them.

Hoax?! I have no reason to "bad mouth" this game, I like it and have already put in almost 80 hours worth of gaming.
If I have to, I guess I could make a video of the actual glitch...
#1. The random encounter of Lv.1 Bidoof on multiple routes further AWAY from Twinleaf Town
#2. The random encounter of Lv.40+ Bidoof outside Twinleaf Town
#3. The random encounter of Lv.100 Bidoof just north of Jubilife City
#4. The 3 Pokédex Data of the 3 Bidoofs.
#5. Proof of NOT using an Action Replay device. (not sure HOW, but to show one is NOT attached while playing? Never used one you know... )
#6. What happens WITH and WITHOUT these bugged Bidoofs as I try to log into the GTS and attempt to Deposit.
#7. Use Rare Candy on Lv.1 Bidoof which evolves to a Lv.40+ Bibarel
I have a single "normal" Bidoof, which I have already evolved to Bibarel. The game and random encounters of Bidoofs were normal (Lv.15 and under, areas accessible BEFORE Eterna Forest). Until I exited Eterna Forest the very first time after Cheryl tagged along, in the tall grass immediately encountered a Lv.28 Bidoof. I thought this was normal.
The reason WHY I've only been up to here in the game after near 80 hours of playing, I've been slathering honey trees in an attempt to capture Munchlax. I usually don't advance the story until I've caught all possible pokémons in each area/route. I gave up 'cuz lvling up was getting slow, so I moved on. (I guess I can also show my Honey Tree Box of pokémons, I have enough female Combees to start my own hive.)
I'm not sure where I'd upload these videos, not that tech/net savvy. They will come as soon as I record myself on my digicam. Going away this weekend.
EDIT: I've been feeling the pressure to PROVE myself and it just so happened I "encountered" proof of my claim.
Bugged Bidoof Video I just recorded and converted, org file is 60MB, what can I say?

This is extremely odd.
Have you recieved any hacked pokémon in a trade? If you yourself have not used any sort of hex editor on your game, then maybe there's some traded pokémon messing it up.
Either way, that's still really weird. You're not playing on some sort of DS boot loader and possibly have a bad dump of the ROM?

It's fake, you can't have more than 10 letters in a nickname, just from that, I know it's fake.

Screw YOU1 is 10 letters. This could be real, and it may not be. Either way, it's weird.

And did you notice the lvl 100 Bidoof had ?763904 exp? That is how much exp a lvl 1 Pokemon in RBY has (there isn't a frame for lvl 1 Pokemon back then).

Before you can make this claim, why don't YOU go to the NAME RATER and try to enter the names in which I have, just from YOU, I know YOU are FAKE. Before you make a "factual" statement, test it yourself.
PixelTwist, just before I left for the weekend, another player mentioned this to me, about trading over GTS, with random ppl, and POSSIBLY receiving in return a "cheated/hacked/edited" pokémon.
I guess I will be forced to release my traded pokémon to test if that will correct anything.
I really don't know what you ppl really need for proof, I did capture that video directly from my DS game. I understand it's poor quality, lighting and conversion, but it's what I'm experiencing in my game.
Like I've said, I will capture some more videos, now that I'm back from my long weekend. Allow me to get some rest before I do, ok?

You may not have to release them all. Just look through the pokémon that you've received in trades. Make sure all their stats are where they should be. If you haven't trained them at all, they may not have any EVs and you can check out their ranges with an IV checker, make sure they're inside where they're supposed to be.
I would lean more towards there being some bugged pokémon or possibly an item over a problem with the game programming. I've not heard of this problem with anyone else.
Bugs within pokémon games really interest me. :3

I'll be creating some, if not all, the videos today to show and prove what's going on in my gaming experience with Pokémon Diamond (not that I think it's version exlusive, but who knows?).
This first one was no-brainer to capture as CHJB, the provoker, needs some help with counting. Please keep in mind I am playing the game and capturing the video all with one hand/arm. With the camera in my left and the stylus in my right hand, forgive me for being so uncoordinated between the 2 machines. Here is CHJB the Provoker.
The remaining videos will be added to the video listing in my earlier post.

But yeah... This is extremely weird. Maybe you have a bad game card? Have any other oddities been going on? Glitched or cheated GTS-obtained Pokèmon may also hold the answer. Still... This is just too weird. I want to find out what's causing it as much as you and PixelTwist, but I doubt there are many effective ways to find the cause. Try calling NOA (Nintendo of America) and explaining the problem. If they have no clue, then oh well, back to the drawing board.
