OK i just had a strange thought. You know in real life, groups of animals have interesting names:

a school of fish
a gaggle of geese
a murder of crows
etc

Well, I got thinking about what would be appropriate collective nouns for pokemon. Some probably should just be inherited from real animals:

a school of magikarp
a murder of murkrows
etc

But for some of the more outlandish ones what should we do? Maybe...

a shock of mareep
a cloud of altaria
a snuggle of snorlaxes

But I definitely think it should be a posse of psyducks. Anyway, just a silly thought...... Any other ideas?

yeah, im not usually creative. but people on these forums are always coming up with crazy questions about pokemon - the best one i can remember is "what pokemon would you like to eat?"

but the reason i thought of this one is that when i was studying for my phd, me and some of the other students used to wonder what the collective noun for mathematicians should be. a "set" or "group" seem to be good choices (wouldnt really make sense to most non-mathematicians).

anyway, i'm way off topic - sorry!!! it certainly is random, but i think there are some pretty creative people out there. lets just wait for an asylum of psypoke members to get thinking :)

I didn't know mathematicians were closed under multiplication!

How about an avalanche of Geodudes?

A murder of Murkrow or a murder of Honchkrow.

"Murder" is actually the term used for a flock of crows. Or... ****, was that ravens?

Aaah, either way.

A puddle of Ditto, a sentence/paragraph of Unown (depending on the quantity?), a garden of Sunflora, a bouquet of Roselia...

A power of mewtwo's, a blade of sceptile's?

This is honestly the most random thread in the forum (in my knowlege), that isn't in the lair that is.

A mouthful of Lickitung, and a tirade of Tyranitar.

Very creative, Cuddles. And an admirable career choice as well.
