I have a quick question about shiny {ditto}s: do they transform into shiny versions of other pokemon? does anybody know or have a shiny ditto who could try it?

How about the other way around then? Does a ditto transform into a shiny if the opponent is shiny? (Harder to check  )

I forgot that you could target transform  so it is very easy (provided you have a shiny ;)

That is quite interesting, it must copy literally every single value from the opponent! (I assume that it copies gender too...) - of course except HP (it's one weakness :p )

It may copy gender, but it's not visible on the hp bar after transforming, so I can't tell...

this could be tested by transforming into a female (say) then switching in a male with the move attract.

Or for really unchallenging method use, say, a hippowdon (which has a really obvious alternate colouring for genders ;) )

:D
