I can't wait to see how this works out. I presume there'll be some pictures at some point, so we can all have a sneak peak? |

I like that idea for a gym. Its a great way to scoop up XP, are you making your own pokemon or using existing ones? |

And I'm probably going to use a combination, some old favourites of mine, and some new ones I made up. And Sudowoodo will be changed to Grass/Rock. It bothers me. |

Ya sudowoodo is annoying! Good luck with it! Is it going to be a cartridge or a download? |

Sorry about the lack of updates, guys. I've been hooked on XD strangely. Ah well, it can't be helped. I'll try and get a working demo out soon. Maybe up to Pewter City, or as it's now called, Mercury Village? |

Since I'm too lazy to create new Pokemon, I'm just going to use old ones, UNLESS I come up with an idea during the process. I just don't want to spend extra time getting nowhere. |

To all those waiting: I will start work again eventually, the project has not been cancelled. Expect an influx of updates and stuff over the summer; I've just had school and everything. I also forgot it existed during March Break, so yeah. Sorry. |

BUMP! Sorry for the long wait. I totally forgot about it, even though the icon for the file was right on my desktop. Well, now that it's summer, I should get a chance to work on it. And Charizard, you need tools. They're available everywhere. I mainly use these tools: AdvanceMap for editing map layouts and Wild Pokemon AdvanceText for editing what NPCs say P.E.T. for editing Trainer data RSBall for editing battle sprites Overworld Editor R.E. for editing overworld sprites Paint.net for editing other art Visual Boy Advance for playing the game P.E.T. and RSBall are available from Elitemap in a pack, but I only use those two; the others I don't. Charizard, some advice: If you're going to make a hack, use Fire Red as a base. It has an available INI file, so text editing is a breeze. A hex editor isn't required, regardless of what many people tell you. And if you get stuck on ideas, move on. There's no required order, although I recommend doing the simpler things first, as then you'll get more accomplished. Also, don't worry about a storyline. An antagonist is not required. If you want a storyline, just think about your region. What is the geography? What main buildings are there? Are there any roadblocks? If you still get stuck, don't be afraid to look to past Pokemon games for inspiration. Some final parting words of advice: It doesn't matter what anybody else thinks of your hack. As long as you like it, it's good. Also, don't think that I've abandoned the project due to the lack of updates. I just got off school, so a slew of updates should be coming in the next two months. See you all, -FI |

I've done Elite #4, Brent. He's an old man who likes ground Pokemon. I was thinking of making him Bertha's brother. I've also done the layout of gym 8. See? Updates! |

i always enjoy playing a well put together hack, so good luck with it oh and seeing you changing sudowoodo, may i suggest changing Gastly and evos to Ghost/Dark simply due to that they dont even learn a Posion type move by level-up |

I don't know if this would classify as "well put-together", but I try. Also, if I make Gastly Ghost/Dark, should I do the same for Haunter and Gengar? |

Also, if I make Gastly Ghost/Dark, should I do the same for Haunter and Gengar? what i mean by 'well put-together' is that its different to the original and stands out against other hacks but i will still be looking forward to try it out, is this your first attempt at a hack? well it would be logical to do so, but its your choice if you actually do change it |

Okay, maybe there won't be an influx of updates in the summer. I've been distracted by so many things, it's crazy. The project will get finished eventually, that is a promise. |

Aaaand I'm back. I have some horrible news: I got a new computer and forgot to put the files over. The project is, well, screwed. But I will get it up again. I suck at time management. Oh well. I've got NO progress now, but I will try to recreate what I had as best as I can. I'm currently working on gym badge redesigns (they won't be in the game, consider them "concept art"). I'll download the file I uploaded on Mediafire and work from there. I'm sorry that I have to break this news to you all, you've been really supportive, but, as I said before, the project WILL get done (eventually). Again, sorry, -FI |
