I hate how when you get one legendary which is linked to another they must be linked by name,
like;
~Rayquaza =>Tornado
~Kyogre => Tsunami
~Groudon => Earthquake
maybe it's just me.



Anyway here is my 'Uber Team';

{mewtwo} => Orphalus (Made by humans, no parents.)
{ho-oh} => Tempus (Temperature, very hot.)
{rayquaza} => Skitheus (Ski/Sky, lives in the sky.)
{dialga} => Genesis (Time traveller, probably saw the creation of Earth.)
{palkia} => Exodus (It's related to Dialga, what can I say.)
{giratina} => Icarius (Icarius could fly so can Giratina- allegedly)

I like Roman sounding names as you may have gathered.

I'm not very good at naming nicknames (after that flop I had in Yellow version), but I got back in the mood fairly recently, and gave my Pokemon these nicknames:

{staraptor} - Braveheart, partly after the move Brave Bird.
{bronzong} - Bell of Pain - used to be Bell of Fate, but realized that Bell of Pain sounded better.
{dragonite} - Gabriel, after a very old story I wrote with a Dragonite by that name. (Where? No idea.)
{alakazam} - Ice Cream Man. Because he has spoons.
{gengar} - Nebula Gray, after the final boss of Megaman Battle Network 5. But I liked dissing said boss, so...I removed the R.
{raichu} - Falk Yeah! Honestly, I'm not sure how this rolled around, but me and a bunch of my friends in real life started saying it randomly. So I tacked it onto Raichu.
{porygon-z} - Evil Joe was the name of the first one. Before then he was known as Demon Ducky, and before that, Dark Zeta. Later I got a 2nd EV trained Porygon-Z, and named it Model 1729 (my favorite number is 1729).
{kyogre} - Pinko Commy - Cold War reference, because I hacked the Kyogre to be shiny for lulz. And shiny Kyogres are...pink.
{infernape} - Duo, after the final boss of Megaman Battle Network 4. And because they both have fists.

Now for Pokemon nicknames for Pokemon I don't use:

{lucario} - Life Virus, after the final boss of Battle Network 1. It used to be Life Aura, a reference to the chip, because Lucario has an aura. Eventually, I named him after the original owner of the Life Aura.
{dialga} - Gregar, final boss of Battle Network 6 Gregar.
{palkia} - Falzar, final boss of BN6 Falzar. Gregar's counterpart.
{shellder} - Gospel, final boss of BN2. And for continuity. Gospel can't be hit unless his mouth is open, like Shellder.
{arceus} - GigaFreeze, reference to a powerful program used to freeze Alpha, final boss of BN3. Again, continuity. Arceus is the Alpha Pokemon, so that had something to do with it.
{torchic} - Golden Avenger, fanfic reference. Hacked to be shiny.
{mudkip} - Violet Avenger, fanfic reference. Hacked to be shiny.
{chinchou} - Flashlight, then Ni-MH Ion, after the Nickel Metal Hydride battery, and the Lithium Ion battery.
Edit: One I forgot:
{shaymin} - Kasey. Because: she likes Shaymin.

And, that's pretty much all I have of note. (I have a few others but I don't think I need to say them.) Yeah, I don't think too highly of the nicknames; I just wanted to give them nicknames. (And I know Violet Avenger is more than 10 letters. I typed in 'VltAvenger'. Same goes for the others with 10+ characters.)

Some nicks I happen to give are based off of what the pkmn is, but others are completely random.

The pokemon I'm breeding in my pearl are to have these nicks:

{luxray} - Luke III: Named after the first pkmn I caught in my Pearl, Luke, a L.5 male Shinx, guess who is grandfather now!

{claydol} - Tsuboid: Comes from the japanese word "Tsubo" which means "Jar" and the suffix "oid" (not nessesarily in japanese) meaning "resemblant to".

{banette} - Banshee: Based off from the very badass, little and demonic look from Banette herself.

{cloyster} - Shelldon: Yeah, you got it, the name and the double "L" for Shell.

{gardevoir} - Zelda: lol Zelda.

{gallade} - Link: lol Link.

{drapion} - Stung: Past tense of Sting.

{aggron} - Aaron: ORLY?

{masquerain} - Kasey: Who knows why the hell is she called Kasey, not even I do.

{mismagius} - Morgan: Nice name for a witch in my opinion... at least it's better than "Sabrina" <.<;

{ledian} - Sabah: The word "Sabah" means "Morning" in Turkish, seeing as Ledian is only obtainable in the morning, I supposed it was the name for her. <3 Ledian <3

{flygon} - Alex: Yeah, my believed-to-be name for Flygon, he is my favourite poke around.

Anyway, I need some help naming a team in Sapphire, for a Delcatty and a Gardevoir. I'm making a girly, flowery team (by no means does this mean it is a useful team; i mean, delcatty's on it), and all of the Pokemon have flower names.

The ones I've already used are Lilly and Lotus.

@ Valentine: Hmm, flower names I can think of (that would be good for nicknames possibly) are Rose, Fuchsia, Gardenia, Lilac, and Cherry.

Just a few examples of the names I give my pokémon - yes, I name almost all of my pokémon. There are references to all sorts of things, some can only be understood in my context and some are just random.

Few more that I have now:

{metagross} - Hyper Bullet. Based partly off of the shape of Beldum, and the move Bullet Punch.
{blissey} - Jenna. Named after the character of the same name from Golden Sun.
{ninjask} - Gold Scarab. Shiny Ninjask are gold, and Ninjask itself is a scarab, so there you go.
{shedinja} - Dark Scarab. Goes along the same lines of logic, pretty much.
{claydol} - Janurock. Named after an antagonist in my fanfic the Violet Avenger. A Claydol transforms into him after being subject to a dark stone.
{dugtrio} - I Has Feet. I wanted to put "I Have Feet" but I didn't have enough room. Why is he named this? Well, do you know of the scene in PMD1 where Diglett mentions that he has feet? There you go.
{darkrai} - Dark Heart, because he is the dark-hearted heart of darkness.
{mewtwo} - Bass. A chance to name my favorite Pokemon after myself.
{giratina} - Infinity. Based off of the area outside dimensions that Giratina lives in. (No, I don't mean the stupid Torn World. What do you take me for?)
{rotom} - Inta Xonem. His favorite Pokemon is Rotom.
{celebi} - lolstop. Purely for lulz.
{lopunny} - Bunny. The nickname is just what it is. I like my Lopunny because it's male, and shiny (pink). Shiny, pink, male, Lopunny. The madness never stops.
