Alright, so yesterday night I was capturing a few meowth to do some pick up farming, when it suddenly crashed with that iconic UFO sound. I was like "okay, but I didn't move the cartridge or anything, I'll just start over I guess." And it happened. When I started the game, it just froze on a white screen. I was like "k.", so I cleaned the cartridge and everything, but it remains white. So when I open it, the gameboy logo starts, and it switches to a blank screen and does nothing. This is not a counterfeit, I cleaned it, etc. Anyone have an answer? o_O plz |

Alright, a little update: I finally managed ripping off that dem security screw and had a peek inside the cartridge; no rust, no damage, no nothing. Completely fine, I have no idea what the damage is, unlike my MDBRT on which one of the components was roasted. I cleaned up the contact things and still nothing... my Magneton still ded. ;_: |

rip in peace magneton ;_; sadly I have nothing for you but words of consolation. I am sorry for your loss. wait is it all games or just leafgreen? maybe the <console>'s contacts are the ones that could benefit from a thorough cleaning. |

No, my gameboy is fine.. in fact, both of them. And any other game works. I guess I'll have to find a used video game store to get another Leafgreen. So yep, RIP Pulse the op Magneton ;_; |

Good news guys! I found out that I can still access the info while trading to newer games, so maybe I'll be able to save a few Pokemon, except for Pulse which was in my team. Buuuuut I found a shiny magnemite in ORAS and named it Pulse in honor of my old overpowered deceased friend. So yep, slowly moving along... RIP forevur Pulse ;_; |

My condolences, I understand how you feel about Pulse; I had that feeling about my level 100 pigeot Windy and my level 100 Dragonite Norbert who both died along with my Silver cartridge in 2007. A couple of days ago I'd turned on my Leaf Green (also legit) after some time and it got stuck on a white screen after the Game Boy logo as well but it was fine after I blew on it. Hopefully, it's not dying, though I don't much like the file I have anymore anyway. Once I could find a way to trade out my shiny Machop I'm planning to start a new one. |

seriously i do feel sorry as i lost my game card after my ds broke so my level 89 togekis and level 78 typhlosion which was awsome i lost with it on soul silver rest in peace typlosion togekiss and all of the pokemon others lost close them |
