 Ah! Gamecube! Dead! Don't know what to do! Ah!

Yes, my Gamecube is dead. The disc refuses to spin. Advice and condolences would be welcome.

was the death a result a fall? Pulling the disc out with out pushing the little button and when you pulled the disc dislocated the device to hold and spin the disc? the unit turns on?

Have a large collection of GameCube games? The game cube is only $99 at the moment and I think they give you SSB:M for free, so you can then trade in the new Game at a store and get some money back, and probably sell off the broken Gamecube of a certian Auction site to recoupe some money. Or go to a local game shop that does repairs find out how much Or call Nintendo Of America to find an Autherize Repair shop and find out how much.

Wow, you actualy killed you GameCube? I have never heard of a GC dieing before. It's such a resiliant little console. I'm very sorry Undead, you have my condolences and I wish you luck finding a fix or replacement.

My Gamecube fell many times, but I doubt it was that. Maybe it was because I flew it over a very long distance. The cold or pressure might have killed it. And I can't quite all Nintendo of America, as I am not American :P . But I know what you mean. But I figure there's no point, if the Rev is reverse compatible then I can wait. I'm just sad that my baby died.

Worst part is that it died right after I bought Eternal Darkness.

What I do now is just lend my games to all my Cube owning friends and harvest the favours. :D

Then that is fraud, and probably Illegal in many countries and probably punished by law. But if you were to ebay it as broken part, people would by it because there are people too cheap to have a store fix it for them so they would buy a broken one for parts, and if they know which parts are most valuable probably would auction that too.

No, the GC turns on fine. It's just that the disc doesn't spin.

Then your DISC might be the thing that is busted.
Or the laser reader thingy.

I've tried every single disc I have.

I seriously doubt that they all are busted.

This resurfaces..... The laser reader might have been touched so it is broken.
