You don't just lock a topic if discussion doesn't work out the way you want it to be. You should have looked at ways to improve the topic. For instance, your opening post wasn't informative enough, if at all. You could have explained more about the band, perhaps add some links and/or pictures, and got people to find out more about the band, before they post. Feel free to edit in or post new information from now on.
Oh, and maybe if we leave this topic someone who knows more about the band than me will come in with a constructive post
