I know I've asked this question a million times but... I CANT JOIN....and the java one says its null or something....ha..... I'm using mIRC and have used it before to chat on #darkmyst but I keep forgetting hos to do so... So helps please... Oh and if there's a similar topic please link me and sorry for not looking deep enough in the forums about my little problem... EDIT: OK so I looked deep in the forum....and found a help thread with the same name....started by...guess who? me!! over a year ago...prolly the last time I went on..... mIRC help...XD anyway, I tried doing what it says in that topic but it won't launch on mIRC...a window pops up and this shows.... Code: YOU SEEM TO BE HAVING TROUBLE CONNECTING TO A IRC SERVER. THE MESSAGE THAT APPEARED WAS: 'UNABLE TO CONNECT TO SERVER' CLICK ON THE HELP BUTTON BELOW FOR MORE INFORMATION THAT MIGHT HELP YOU. OK | HELP If I press ok the window will open up again...help doesn't help...AT ALL... off topic: ha Krisp before she was ultimate powerness.... Edited (nfield/03 Apr 2008): Removed the font color. Anyway, if the java is returning null, there's a chance that you haven't an updated version of Java. Google "Java" and download the most recent update. If that is not the problem, and your Java is up-to-date, then there is likely a problem with your Internet Service Provider ("ISP"), which prevents you from using IRC. Apologies. |

thanks for the help nfield... anyway...I updated my Java and it still isn´t working, and now that you´ve said it, Im gonna go ahead and check my firewall settings, could be a cause, if not the hope is lost XD |

Rhydon, this question has been answered. black_flygon is using mIRC, and he tried to use the Java applet instead, but it didn't work either. Please make sure that the question is open, and you will be contributing to the discussion, before posting in the future. Thanks! |
