im doing a little bit of testing myself at mixing sprites but im not that experianced and im useing paint

That's good, but make sure the sprite is recoloured, don't just slap one Pokemon head on anothers body.

yeah im sorta new so i dont know much about recoloring yet

You didn't recolor so well. DO NOT use Paint default colors. Use the eyedropper tool next time.

but heres more! 
and heres a revamp and recolor

Umm, revamping just isn't giving the old sprites new colors, you need to add more shading.
