Hey, I made it on. And it's Cleansing Warswick, oh Galar, THANK YOU! It's the best Birthday Present ever... even though it's been there a while. Because of this I just might not wait and post the prologue for my second book right now!

BTW, Cleansing Warswick... so done posting now.... hurray!

Wow, this is a nifty little topic :). I think that you would call most of what I write drama. Blood and gore are so matter of fact in my story that it hardly fits into horror, and just about everything about pokemon fanfic writing is fantasy to start with...

May I say, I've read ALOT since I've been gone. But NOTHING leaves a bigger dent in me then Metro 2033 and it's sequel, Metro 2034. It's a Russian Novel that's now available in Europe and has not come out in the US (I had to special order them) and OMG it is unbelievable. Harry Potter? Eragon? They ain't got a THING! Trust me, try out this book if you even come CLOSE to liking books.

Oh goodie, another place to find and chat about books, words, good reads, generes, etc! I'm glad there's somewhere I can directly find good reads instead of going though all the awful stuff. Speaking of which, I read The Final Battle, Valentine. At first, I'd though it'd be hopelessly cheesy and/or overdramatic, but I loved it. Best fanfic ever, including mine own in that equation.

Genere? I do fantasy, like most of the good writers around here seem to. I don't know if the Pokemon world counts as Fantasy, though. Especially not my distorted version of it. Forest of Secrets is my sole story there, and I honestly make almost everything up as I go along, to accomplish whatever next plotpoint I've managed to come up with. I have little idea if it'll actually goes somewhere, but if it does, I have a vague idea for a sequel. Assuming it'll turn out as I hope. *Cough, cough, Can I have a little critisim? cough cough.*
I recommend a couple of series;
Redwall, by Brian Jacques. I've only read Triss, but I hear the rest is good. Triss certainly went above expectations.
The Age of Fire, by E. E. Knight. Dragon Champion is the first book, Dragon Avenger the second, Dragon Outcast is my favorite as the third, I forgot the forth, Dragon Rule the fifth, and Dragon Fate is the last book with some very interesting plot twists. This is the writer who knows a good intrigue, makes things complicated, yet one can grasp every line thought easily enough. My all-time favorite series.

Now, what's bugging me is this whole chapter's idea. I haven't writen in chapters for Forest of Secrets, but in viewpoints. I jump from character to character, and that's how my posts go, a post for every (extended) view from the eyes of each. Certain exceptions live, but anyways...
Chapter's aren't required, are they?

Resident shipper girl of Psypokes. Also writes noncanon fanfic, Forest of Secrets may not actually be worked on again, though. . . much too busy.
