So I wanted to test out my sprites that I recently learned how to make, and feedback is encouraged.
As I said, I only learned how to make sprites like yesterday. So yeah. Mektar said OK, so I'm posting here.
First Sprite: Camerupt as Numel (Camerupt in Numel colors)

You're doing pretty well for a beginner! Try to make the size of your image smaller (try 80x80 or something around that) and transparent. I hope to see more of your work.

For the Beedrill, there are a few things missing from the wings. Otherwise, you are off to a great start!

Never mind, it's just my eyes tricking me. Anyway, you are pretty good. You should start doing more complex things like fusions.

The Chikorita was Chikorita as Mewtwo.
These ones are kind of odd. I really think I messed up on this one, but...

As a beginner, you're pretty good. I'll advise you to download Paint.NET & GIMP, 2 decent art programs that can help you a lot. And I agree with Thundawave that you should try making fusions. Keep up with your good work!

I don't know how to...
I'll learn it AFTER I pass their exam. Still doing it...
EDIT: I'm trying these for first fusions.

Thanks, but I can't think of anything for the moment.
So back to recolors. I got tons.
First one: Image

Will do others later.

You're getting better at this. You should probably enter Mektar's contest (it's about recoloring a certain Isshu Pokemon whose name I cannot spell to the color scheme of your favorite ice cream flavor). Transparency will help the image look cleaner, though. I answered your iaza question somewhere in this forum, so you should know how to make things transparent now.

Post subject:  Re: torchie13125's Art Place-Basic Recoloring: Feedback Please!

Yeah. Since I'm fairly free in PokeFarm... I've got time to try this out.
Oh wait, it won't work. It won't let me crop my picture...
Aw well... I'll just stick with the whole not transparent thing.

Post subject:  Re: torchie13125's Art Place-Basic Recoloring: Feedback Please!

to make them transparent go to here http://iaza.com/ which i see you have done once loaded go to create (the last collum under the picture) go to the first one transparent and click the background (the white even tho i make mine opposite color of the main one) and then go down click convert then whala you just made it transeparent
PS as for your art its awesome

Hahaha. I got my internet back, my laptop back, and I'm ready for more!

I think I got the transparent thing under control for now.
(It's Articuno as Suicune, Zapdos as Raikou, and Moltres as Entei.)
Image
(I call it Aqua Shinx, as anyone doing PokeFarm would know. It's Shinx as Buizel for any others.)

I think it's interesting how the legendary beast's colors fit the legendary birds so well. As for Aqua-Shinx, it's something Kolink might be proud of! As for those who don't know, Kolink is a pokefarm mod obsessedd with shinx of all kind.

Those recolors of the legendary birds are really good, especially the Moltres one. Also, Kolink would definitely be happy to see that one of his event Pokemon inspired you to do the Aqua Shinx.

For once, I got some comments! Yay!
Now, for something new:

Skitty looks good in purple. Just makes me wonder, if Skitty is purple, is Delcatty pink? Purple Skitty looks like it could stay that way, but I think I can see why Nintendo didn't swap Skitty's and Delcatty's colors.

Here's another fusion attempt. Umbreon and Lugia.

No matter how hard I try, I couldn't get rid of the white lines above and below the pic.

The, as I would like to call it, XD00Umbreon looks good, especially for one used to recolors.
