People will only donate Psybucks to you if you've contributed in one way or another, either by helping out other users actively, writing guides, winning competitions, getting your movesets into the Creative Movesets Hall of Fame and so on. So do these and you will be rewarded with Psybucks naturally. Otherwise, please wait for the whole Psybucks system to be set up, and you will receive 50 Psybucks to start with.

No, the reason why we Frontier Brains, Elites and Gym Leaders, aka FEGs, have Psybucks, is because we are given the Psybucks by Elites. Our current job is to give out Psybucks to those that deserve to get them, so that there are some Psybucks to go around, and people get used to the Donations and all. Everyone will have to make do with what they have (or do not have) while the Admins set up the entire Psybucks system. Since the Admins have lives outside of Psypoke, please allow them time to do so, and be patient :wink:

For now, it's really just for buying signatures, trainer cards, and the like. You could also donate money to people if you feel kind, but other than that, there's no other use as of now. :)

As Amphy mentioned in his important Psybucks Announcment on Page 4, the current uses (and uses in the near future) of Psybucks are:

And here are the thing which you can currently spend your PsyBucks on:
NB: This list will grow as we add more exciting things

1) Items from individual shops. People can start up their own shops in Slateport Market - please adhere to the Slateport Rules. The maximum amount anyone can charge for ANY item is 100 PsyBucks. People don't have to charge anything in shops if they don't wish to. Real items cannot be sold in shops.
2) Trainer Card - 20 PsyBucks. Those who already have their order in will get theirs.
3) Trainer Card Team Change/Update - 5 PsyBucks
4) Custom Rank* - Previously Made - 2000 PsyBucks. See below for details.
5) Name Change - 2500 PsyBucks.
6) Custom Rank* - Make a New One - 5000 PsyBucks. See below for details.
7) Unique Rank* - Only you may use - 10,000 PsyBucks. See below for details.
8 ) Donate them to a friend!

Well in the other games discusion forum someone posted about favorite shadow pokemon and the author listed the 48 shadow pokemon from coliseum and then I listed the 83 shadow pokemon from XD. Then I asked if I get psybucks from them since I helped them (I think) and then someone says "Yes. *gives you 0 psybucks* Did I help them or not? :x

If I may, RayquazaMan1... that was something you shouldn't have done. When you propose to help, you help because you want to. Period.

In the same way, ppl will reward you if they want. If it hadn't been you posting the 83 pokemon, someone would have anyway. So it's not like you helped immensely, either.

The point is, if you wanna go around playing nice and then charging bucks, then you are only revealing lack of principle and integrity. At least say "I'll work for psybucks". Which is wrong just the same.

Major contributions or acts of kindness are normally rewarded, but trivial things such as those... Would you offer something to someone if they, let's say, lent you their notebook, after you skipped school one day, so you could keep track of the lessons? Would you reward them in any way, or would you, like most ppl do among friends, say "thank you" as expected and get on with your life? Btw this is rethorical.

All in all, it's wrong to do ppl a so-called favour and charge afterwards. It's ethically wrong and I bet you wouldn't like it if things had happened the other way round.

If you ask for psybucks, you're never going to get any. (From me, anyway.) I don't know what I'll give out psybucks for, but so far, I've given them out to people who make me things. (sig, TC, etc.)
