But it powers up Attack by 50%, while the burned status halves attack. So the Swellow's attack would be 75% of normal. Unless you're using just Facade, all your attacks will be weaker than normal.

burn halves attack on all pokemon which don't have guts as their ability. if a pokemon has the guts ability, a burn will increase its attack by 50%, just like all other status ailments.

heres one for a double battle. have a breloom (your own) use spore on your choice band swellow with the moveset: sleep talk, facade, brave bird, steel wing.

:o ...........you sure?

But you only get a Pichu from 2 Pikachus or 2 Riachus. So if you breed the Raichu with a ditto, you should get a Pikachu.

Or, better yet, just have sleep talk and facade.
Of course, you have nothing against ghosts, but...

That's why I use:

Ursaring @ Flame Orb/Toxic Orb
Jolly - Guts
252 ATK, 252 SPD, 6 HP
-Facade
-Crunch
-Earthquake
-Swords Dance

Crunch covers Ghosts, and Earthquake covers everything that resists.

Well not everything. I mean, bronzong and skarmory still resist all that.

Maybe this?

(DOuble Battle)

Empoleon
Rain Dance
Swagger( for use on yourself)
Swords Dance
Drillpeck

Alakazam
Thunderpunch
Physch Up
Physcho Cut
Psychic

Empoleon uses Rain Dance - Thunder punch becomes accurate 100% which may come handy

Swagger on Alakazam - Holding berry to lift confusion

Swords Dance - Means Attack is now up by 4 stages, so when psych up is used it Psycho cut does decent damage

Psychic will do normal damage as usual.

what is wrong with you! the killer said it all

You can get a surfing pichu from box and a surfing pikachu from PBR... but both are sadly female. You can't breed the surf due to that.

That's not how breeding works anyway guys, you can't pass a move if the 1st stage can't learn it by normal means.

So no matter what you can't breed surf into pichu/pikachu.

Well, pikachu can't technically learn surf, it just somehow has it.
Point is, you can't breed surf onto more pikachus. Case closed.
