FEAR is an acronym that can stand for one of two things:
F-ing Evil Annoying Rattata or the family friendly version: Focus sash-Endeavor-Attack(quick)-Rattata It basially means you use the strategy that was posted first by whoever started this topic and lied, saying he came up with the idea and not marriland. Use pp max at sheer cold/fissure/guillotine/etc. it sure helps

Trick Room is an excellent strategy- pile all your EVs into other stats, and watch as your pokes still go first ^_^

Here's a Strategy for putting dents in your opponents team
Swellow@Flame Orb Trait:Guts Facade Protect U-turn Brave Bird Evs Spd Atk Use Protect Then Facade with STAB and The DOubled Damage Cuz your burned from Flame orb Trust me it works |

But burn lowers Atk, Wouldn't be a toxic orb more effective?

Swellow has guts so it powers up attack anyway.

But it powers up Attack by 50%, while the burned status halves attack. So the Swellow's attack would be 75% of normal. Unless you're using just Facade, all your attacks will be weaker than normal.

Besides the burn argument, it would only work once on someone before they learn to switch to a ghost or just a faster pokemon with rock slide or something.
Facade isn't the best angle to work. |

During double battles: Sceptile + Slaking/Regigigas...
Slaking/Regigigas and Sceptile are sent out. Sceptile uses Worry Seed on Slaking/Regigigas Truant/Slow start is replaced with Insomnia. As well as belly drummer + psych up buffer. I tried both orbs, and I could not tell a difference between them when I used the orbs, mostly because they always fainted in one shot or Swellow fainted. |

(DOuble Battle) Empoleon Rain Dance Swagger( for use on yourself) Swords Dance Drillpeck Alakazam Thunderpunch Physch Up Physcho Cut Psychic Empoleon uses Rain Dance - Thunder punch becomes accurate 100% which may come handy Swagger on Alakazam - Holding berry to lift confusion Swords Dance - Means Attack is now up by 4 stages, so when psych up is used it Psycho cut does decent damage Psychic will do normal damage as usual. _________________  CaN YoU SeE ThE SecreT MessagE ~~~Flaming Aura Unknown~~~ Thanks !www.pokecharms.com! http://www.myspace.com/ade_ade_ade_ade |

Your strategy made no since whatsoever.
First, you can't use swagger on yourself. Second, rain dance only makes THUNDER 100% accurate, which Alakazam can't learn. Third, thunderpunch is physical. Fourth, why even use swagger on yourself when you can use swords dance? Fifth, psycho cut is phsycical. Last, Alakazam has horrible attack. You need to remember the psyical/special split in the fourth generation. |

I think he knows that those two attacks are physical and 'Zam's attack sucks and thats why he has swaggered it up.

A good point. Follow me on the Vaporeon (or another poke if it can't get it) with Defence EVs would be better, and use Calm Mind or Nasty Plot on the 'Zam

Unless you're using just Facade, all your attacks will be weaker than normal. burn halves attack on all pokemon which don't have guts as their ability. if a pokemon has the guts ability, a burn will increase its attack by 50%, just like all other status ailments. heres one for a double battle. have a breloom (your own) use spore on your choice band swellow with the moveset: sleep talk, facade, brave bird, steel wing. _________________ everything you will ever need to know is in my sig. |
