First Pokemon

Salamence/ adamant nature/ intimidate/ holding draco plate

Attacks:

Dragon Rush

Fly

Eathquake

Flamethrower

Salamence i just had to choose cause its stats are amazing and it has lots of resisntances. Its Intimidate covers its defense stat since its the lowest stat of salamence (even thought its still above average). To bring out its high attack stat i added the adamant nature. Attacks like Dragon Rush and Fly pick up STAB while causing heavy damage. They also are phsical attacks which are good for salamence. Earthquake is a ground type so it covers up its weakness to rock types not to mention causes massive damage and is physical. I used flamethrower as the last attack to cover up its ice weakness. Salamnce is a well rounded pokemon that is capable of giving and taking damage.

Second Pokemon

Arcanine/ modest nature/ flash fire/ holding flame plate

Attacks:

Sunny Day

Solarbeam

Heat Wave

Overheat

Alright now arcanine is the speacial attacker of the bunch. With its modest nature his speacial attack is also boosted. Flash fire gives it and immunity to fire type attacks and also multiplies to power of its fire type attacks by 1.5 which is nice. Sunny Day is a very useful attack for Arcanine it raises the power of fire type moves and makes Solarbeam more practical. After using Sunny Day, Solarbeam will no longer need a charging period which is good for arcanine because with its high power it can destroy all of its weaknesses: Water Ground and Rock. Heat Wave and Overheat can cause unbelieveable amount of damage. With STAB, flash fire, and Sunny Day all in affect Heat Wave has a base power of 337.5 and Overheat 472.5 Enough said.

Third Pokemon

Shuckle/ impish nature/ sturdy/ holding leftovers

Attacks:

Bide

Rest

Power Trick

Eathquake

Every team needs a tank so I choose Shuckle. It has ridiculously high defense and special defense which is great for a pokemon that needs to take damage. Impish nature boosts its defense as well. The sturdy nature i added just in case some lunatic tries a fissure or horn drill on you. The leftovers (it restores HP each turn) adds a nice touch too to keep Shuckle in battle. Bide is a good move to have since Shuckle can take so much damage. Rest makes Shuckle a pain in the ass to battle because it can gain all its HP back haha. Power Trick is where it gets tricky ( no pun intended). It reverses attack and defence stats so its great defense now can be used as attack. After using Power Trick you can launch a massive earthquake which also destroys 2 of the 3 weaknesses Shuckle has.

Fourth Pokemon

Milotic/ timid nature/ marvel scale/ holding splash plate

Attacks:

Water Pulse

Surf

Ice Beam

Aqua Ring

Milotic is another strong special attacker and has even better speacial defence. I decided on timid nature because it doesnt really need any physical attacks so therefore I could move some of the attack stat to speed. Marvel scale is a great ability it boosts defense when your poisoned or paralized or whatnot. Water Pulse isnt nessarily a strong attack but it picks up STAB which helps it a little. It also can confuse the opponent which can be very helpful. Surf is a strong attack that also picks up STAB. Ice Beam is also a strong attack which covers both of Milotics weaknesses. Aqua Ring adds a nice touch to keep Milotic in battle by adding HP each turn.

Fifth Pokemon

Electivire/ gentle nature/ motor drive/ holding zap plate

Attacks:

Thunder Punch

Ice Punch

Fire Punch

Giga Impact

Electivire is a good pokemon to have cause it learns many elemaental attacks and also has a strong attack stat. the gentle nature boosts defense so it can help electivire deal with those damn Earthquakes. Thunder Punch picks up STAB and is a pretty strong attack to begin with. Ice punch is super effective against Electivire's only weakness. Fire Punch ummm i just added to match the Thunder and Ice punches haha but its good. Giga Impact is for the pokemon that are resistant to the element punches. Electivire's attack stat allows the punches to deal some heavy damage.

Sixth Pokemon

Gallade/ lax nature/ steadfast/ holding mind plate

Attacks:

Night Slash

Psycho Cut

Close Combat

Thunderbolt

Gallade is another strong attacker. The lax nature boosts defense so the flying weakness isnt as bad. Night slash is a great attack that covers the ghost type weakness it has a high critical hit ratio. Psycho cutter also is a strong attack it picks up STAB and has a high critical hit ratio. Close Combat is a super strong attack that picks up STAB as well. Thunderbolt is a mighty strong attack that can kill the bird pokemon that pose a threat to gallade. Gallades strong attacks can keep enemies at bay.

So thats the team give me feedback please thanks.

You need to replace the plates.

Also why is your Acanine a special sweeper? couldn't you have just used houndoom and do more damage? A lot of people Do use overheat on arcanine, but that's because his attack stat is higher than his spec stat and he could switch to physical moves.

Most of the ice types you should worry about are gonna be faster than salamance, so flamethrower probably won't work that great.

Power trick is hard to make work, but I guess it really is all about risk-reward.

Waterpulse And surf isn't the best idea. It really hampers diversity to have 2 water type attacks.

Also gentle nature Lowers defense. And even if it didn't earthquake would still ohko your electavire.

Overall: plates = waste of time.

Power Trick on a pokemon as unbalanced as Shuckle is a DEATHWISH, an absolute deathwish. Shuckle is so slow that there is NO way you would be able to survive the next hit. Especially since your opponent will KNOW your vulnerability, since you'll be attacking at the end of the turn, and will just go "oh, I'll just Quick Attack and OHKO it next turn."

Bide doesn't work, either. Bide pays back double damage to the damage it received, but a defensive pokemon like Shuckle will hardly do any damage back.

You did pretty good with some of your natures (Adamant on Salamence, Impish on Shuckle) but the rest are just crap. Milotic is too slow to utilize a speed nature well, Electivire's defensive stats are for the gutter, as are Gallade's, and as FaceLess said, Arcanine is best off as a physical sweeper or at least a mixed sweeper (physical attacks + Overheat).

I have to say for a dream team you haven't really put a lot of thought into it, a whole team of blisseys is better than that. I have no real constructive comment to post seeing as how FaceLess and Taser have already broken it down but you need to toss the plates and fix arcanine and shuckle the most. I'm sorry but i'd go back to the drawing boards.

Most of the natures rock. But the items and Movesets SUCK TO THE CORE. Post it in the Rating Centre to find out how to modify them as I cant rate them.

The number 1 rule for movesets is this :

NEVER NEVER EVER EVER HAVE TWO DAMAGING MOVES OF THE SAME TYPE ON ONE POKEMON.

The second: Do not use Physical/Special moves on a Pokemon if its stats don't match.

Personally, I would never call this a dream team. Take in the suggestions from all these people then reconsider.

If this is your dream team, why do you need us to tell you if it's good or not? If it's your dream team, then it's obviously perfect in every way.

Not to sound rude, but your dream team can use some work. I'd give constructive criticism but most everything I can think of has been said already.

And for your Salamence, please don't use Fly. It gives your opponent one free turn to switch in a Pokemon that could resist Fly and then proceed to own your Salamence.

Amongst all the lolworthy responses you have gotten so far, I will give you one solid tip:

SHUCKLE IS NOT A GOOD TANK. EVEN THE LIKES OF WIGGLYTUFF CAN TAKE HITS BETTER THAN SHUCKLE CAN.

Seriously, it is the biggest newbie mistake in the world to pick Shuckle to be your tank. He has massive Defenses, yes, but his craptastic HP completely ruins it. A Pokemon's overall "damage index" is determined by multiplying its base HP by its base Defense or Special Defense (depending on which side of the spectrum you want to find out how well a Pokemon can take hits from). Because of Shuckle's low HP, his damage index is much lower than you'd think for a Pokemon hailed as the biggest wall in the game. Besides that, Seismic Toss rips Shuckle apart.

The closer together the HP and Defenses are, the better that Pokemon can take hits. If you'd like evidence for how this is determined, take a look at Blissey. Highest base HP in the game combined with lowest base Defense. But yet a Blissey with max Defense and a Bold nature can survive almost any non-CB'd physical attack in the game because her HP is so off the chart that it saves her Defense. Shuckle's base 230 Defenses are ruined by its base 20 HP. Take a look at this:

Defense:
Shuckle: 20 HP x 230 Defense = index of 4,600.
Wigglytuff: 140 HP x 45 Defense = index of 6,300.
Lopunny: 65 HP x 84 Defense = index of 5,460.
Dusclops: 40 HP x 130 Defense = index of 5,200.
Skarmory: 65 HP x 140 Defense = index of 9,100.

I know, you probably wouldn't think that Dusclops would be able to take hits better than Shuckle, since his Defenses are nearly halved and his still-bad HP is doubled, but the proof is posted right there.

Special Defense:
Shuckle: 20 HP x 230 Special Defense = index of 4,600.
Wigglytuff: 140 HP x 50 Special Defense = index of 7,000.
Lopunny: 65 HP x 96 Special Defense = index of 6,240.
Dusclops: 40 HP x 130 Special Defense = index of 5,200.
Blissey: 255 HP x 135 Special Defense = index of 34,425(!).

So, please, everybody, think before you make Shuckle your "tank."

You are right for the most part, however that analysis is completely flawed.

I mean multiplying base hp by base def wouldn't give you a good relative idea of a pokemon's ability to take damage. Hp, and def get different values relative to the base stat. They also function in totally different ways.

For instance, Dusknoir actually does take more damage relative to max health than a shuckle in my experience. This stems from the fact that, though his base hp is more than double, it only adds 50 hps. And the way defense works Shuckle generally takes enough damage less that it has a higher % of hps left than Dusknoir.
