I'm in the stage of debating between the two for my team. Currently I have a Blaziken with the following moveset: Scope Lens 252 Att, 252 Speed, 6 Hp Blaze kick Night Slash Focus Energy Brick Break I feel that he's too weak in the Def and Sp. Def categories, he's a physical sweeper, so he's got wasted stats in Sp. Att. Let me know what you think. |

I like Blaziken because he looks sicker. They can both be used well but I'd go with Blaziken. |

well stat wise blaziken has 120 base attack and 80 base speed. infernape on the other hand has 104 base attack and 108 base speed. so blaziken is clearly stronger but infernape is way faster. so its really faster attacks or stronger attacks? personally i would go with blaziken because of his stronger moveset. infernape needs a lot more work to get a good moveset. but the choice is yours |

Honestly Infernape is clearly better because of its speed and is a better physical sweeper than Blaziken. If Blaziken had a better speed stat then they go hand in hand. Blaziken is not worse then Infernape but not better. |

Depends on personal preference really. As said above, Blaziken is stronger but slower, and Infernape is weaker but faster. Personally, i'd go with Infernape. The two are balanced out really well stat-wise, but Infernape is more the middle-man, with not bad attack, and pretty high speed. My 2 cents. |

Well like it has been said its all in what you want I would go with Infernape. But that is me because with Blaziken max speed you can ever get is 284 which is decent but that is if you EV train and get perfect IVs where as infernape gets that with poor IV and little EVs in that stat well then again 284 isn't that bad huh? Now that I think about you can use both all depends on your opponent? That is why I prefer Infernape he is fast and semi powerful well thats just my 2centz

Infernape cause if Blaziken and Infernape were in a battle infernape would go first cause he has higher speed hes use a fighting move then blah blah blah Infernape would win sure Blaziken has higher attack then infernape but infernape has stats wise and Blazikens defence needs to be wayyyy better so any ground, rock, water, and flying would KO him.So go with Infernape. |

I'd say go with Blaziken. Infernapes defences are pretty bad and he relies heavily on his speed to go first and dish out damage. He can't last very long in battles because he can't take hits too well. Blaziken on the other hand has stronger defences and he is more powerful. He can last longer in battles and can dish out more damage. This is what I have found out from using both of them but it's just my opinion.

I think you guys underestimate Infernape, and grew to like Blaziken too much. Infernape is quite fast, and has enough power to back his moves up and OKHO. His moveset is astounding on the physical side, Close Combat and Flareblitz are immensely powerful + STAB, and he can use anything from Swords Dance, U-Turn, Shadow Claw, Earthquake, Stone Edge, poison Jab,Thunderpunch.... to cover his weaknesses and have huge type variety. His special movepool is quite useable too, with Focus Blast, Over Heat, Grass Knot, Nasty Plot, and several others. If his move is Super Effective, he'll most likely OHKO. And with the variety he's got, you'll hit something. Most sweepers don't last one hit. Blaziken doesn't take hits either. Let alone after a Flare Blitz or Close Combat. Infernape is one of the best starters ever (in my opinion, the best one) and is used very frequently on teams. One of the best new pokemon this gen, and ever. Sure he doesn't look as cool, but I like seeing Win over Loss, I think that looks pretty cool. |

Thank u MTG Xerxes!he is right just cause Blaziken looks cooler dosent mean hes better the Infernape is a killing machine!just like MTG said he has lots of moves to cover up his weakness which means he can kill lots of types so dont ever mess with Infernape or ur dead. |

If your going for the best choice wth compared stats Infernape This sums it up perfectly and who ever above said blaziken can take more hits??? most sweepers are made to hit and keep on hitting til they are koed so speed is a key factor to sweepers along with attack which Infernape does well it will outspeeds a blaziken NP at a difference of 28 spd and every keeps saying infernape is weak well it is a bit of a big difference at 16 but not as much as the speed  and plus since Infernape will go first he uses EQ and it is over before blaziken can even move

Infernape may be faster but if he doesn't kill Blaziken in one hit then Infernape is done. So either one can better in a way,but I'm pretty sure a Infernape can beat a Blaziken in one hit. Remember that a Blaziken has lower defenses than a Infernape. So think that a Infernape is better. |

Infernape can sweep much better than blazekin and also is more used in wifi and infernape can OHKO a blazekin because of their speed and power but Blazekin pretty slow but if you land super-effective hit infernape will certainly die but effective sweeping relies on attack on as much as speed and inferanape has a much better move pool so infernape is my choice,it really does'nt matter sinice they both get owned be phychic or EQ but work with what you got. |

Well consider Infernape should probably Special Attack becuase of Nasty Plot or Calm Mind, Blaziken is obviously the better physical sweeper. With Bulk Up and Swords Dance, he wins for sure. You forgot to consider that Infernape uses Earthquake first and indeed its faster than Blaziken. |

Once again, Infernape should be using Special Attacks. His moveset is much better for Special. Earthquake helps Blaziken more, as with his Swords Dance, he can be a beast wtih Earthquake. I just prefer Aerial Ace on him. |
