it has a 4x weakness to fighting, a common type on any team. Yeah that pisses me off. It's TTar's Rock type. It has soooo many benefits, w/ Sandstorm and all, but waaaay to many weaknesses.
On the thought of them being Ubers, thats just ridiculous. They're definitely extremely good, but not that good.
Put TT against mewtwo, just see who wins (:0)

No, that's not uber. My definition for "Uber" was 600 or above OVERALL BASE STATS. Blissey's base HP stat is only 255. And, no, Blissey is not Uber because of her HP or ability to be an annoying Special wall. Any Choice Banded or boosted Physical attack in the game can one-shot Blissey, and she isn't exactly fast or able to one-shot other Pokemon in the game like, say, Deoxys-FR.

How are its stats "ridiculous"? All four forms of Deoxys are exactly 600 base overall, like Celebi, Jirachi, etc. The "balanced" Deoxys and Speed Deoxys from RSE really do not stand up to the task of Ubers. In fact, Deoxys-E has the stat distribution of a regular non-Legendary such as Arcanine, except it has twice the Speed and half the HP. Deoxys-FR and Deoxys-LG, with their extreme stat distributions, are a little different. Deoxys-FR, in particular, has the Speed and Attack stats to kill most things before his extremely poor Defenses can be taken advantage of.

TTar has reasons to be or not to be and uber its only good if properly trained which i didnt do with mine  and dragonite it depends on its moves it has many good moves to learn but only four at a time *sigh* but some or most tournaments dont ban them but allow only one Arceus hes definetly wicked good if given the correct moves and any pokemon 00ber or not they have at least one weakness whether it be a huge difference or not

And I too agree with the 600 base stats, but as mentioned it is opinion. YOu have the 600 stats opinion asw well as me but you can see people everywhere talking about blissey as a great poke.
Im not arguing this is completely for the sake of discussion, I call it uber TO ME because it has unrealy HP and is the best Spc Wall i personnaly have ever seen. Because of that it is my Spc Wall uber, get it. Call me whatever its just my opinion that blissey is overall pretty sick.
Tryanitar is like a walking contradiction, it can be very good or it can be very bad. Give it s spd boost and atk boost from a baton and walla very good, use it on its own and it does ok. Lol try to sweep with its normal stats and it is horrible, it just swings so many ways. Has decent stats and horrid weaknesses. Idk i dont like him though, id prefer salamence any day over that.

Deoxys isn't ridiculous JUST because of its stats. The reason Deoxys overall is ridiculous is because you can get any nature, any IV number, and any form, and it will still dominate anything in its path. You can make it into anything you want and still have it be extremely effective.
It's not like Mew (who was on your list of definite ubers) where it can learn any TM, but its stats only allow for a few uses--for example, Mew obviously wouldn't be an effective tank. You want a powerful tank, just go to the in-game meteor sites, and change it to a tank. Then you decide you don't need it for a tank in the next battle, and you're going to use it as a sweeper. See what I mean?
Agreed about Blissey for the mentioned reasons.
@Classick: If you want to see good special walls... Regice is another special wall that you'd probably say is "uber", but really is just very effective.
I wish I didn't see so many peeps bashing TTar. : Methinks you people have yet to see a well trained one, because as a standard sweeper, TTar ph41|_s. As a subpuncher, it's the best option I could possibly think of.

So today a battled someone with a Tyranitar it ended up dominated Charizard with Stone Edge after EQ took it down close to half, but Aerodactyl was able to finish the job.
But after that i can see why a Tyranitar using Substitute and Focus Punch or something could give you troubles....
**Shudders** (With Excitement)

You should probably make Charizard more of a Sp Atk specialist, since you saw that EQ wasnt even effective.

Note that you could always teach Charizard Focus Blast, which would rip TTar apart...
But yea, I'm glad you see what I mean now.

Is there a list of Ubers somewhere? Like a made-by-someone-important-people list. If there isn't, then how would you know what someone means by don't use Ubers? I don't think any Pokemon should be banned. It limits our freedom. If you don't know much and think you can always win by using legendaries and then you lose, that is your fault. Smarter citizens would use different Pokemon just for diversity.

The best definitive source on that would be Smogon, but they don't have PD updates yet.
But what they do have is this:
Deoxys (all forms)
Groudon
Ho-oh
Kyogre
Latias
Latios
Lugia
Mew
Mewtwo
Rayquaza
Wobboffet
Wynaut
And once PD becomes standard, I expect the additions will be:
Dialga
Palkia
Giratina
Arceus

Should check out Slaking's stats, i might not be able to take a Sp Hit but with Life Orb or Choice Band on it it OHKOs lots of Pokes
My guess is the Truant ability is used to cripple it like NONE other
I don't really like when people throw in a Latios or and Latias because it's not like i can check there item during a battle, unless they are using Leftovers or something

The inherent flaw in having something uber within your opinion is that pokemon is a community game. Uber is something that is already set in the comunity, if your opinion is different from the higher community rules then your opinion is wrong.
And while I normally encourage people to follow their own beliefs, if you say something that matches your opinion but contradicts the rules of the community then it is your fault there is a misunderstanding and you just have to admit you are wrong.
For the record, Wobbufett is Not uber because of two wobbufets fighting with leftovers. I'm also under the impression that two wobbufets in battle gain the ability to switch out. Even if that isn't true that just makes it Banned, not uber.
A lot of non uber pokeon are also banned, so this isn't unheard of.
It's uber, because it is extremely easy to turn it into an efficient and incedible killing machine. Stats aren't all that makes a pokeon dangerous, it is naive to list ubers based on a stat requirement.

Others don't like it when you use the stronger Pokemon to fight them sometimes. They could just as easily use one of them also or use one that can trump it. I think you should be able to use what you want and those people who don't accept that are most likely the ones who get mad when they lose and don't want to take chances fighting a tough opponent. I think you should make your team based on who you like, not who has high stats.

EDIT: Lol beaten by a page. I swear it didn't exist while I was posting. >>
Anyways, my ubers: Mew, Mewtwo, Deoxys-FR, Deoxys, Deoxys-LG, Deoxys-E, Lugia, Ho-oh, Rayquaza, Kyogre, Groudon, Wobbuffet, Aruseus, Darkrai, Parukia, Diaruga, Giratina, Latios, and Latias.
EDIT2: And Wobby is Uber simply because of Shadow Tag, great HP, Coutner, Encore, and Mirror Coat. If you don't Counter/Coat, you at least give one Pokemon a free setup turn with Encore. The "two Wobbys can switch out" was added in D/P.
