Okay, I know the move Recycle allows you to re-use Held Item, but I'm wondering how exactly does this attack work...? E.g. -

Alakazam gets confused!
Alakazam's Berry snaps it out of confusion!

Could you then use Recycle to get your Berry back? Or is Recycle used more offensively (like with Fling?) or can you even use it like that? I've never seen the move used before, so I'd like to know how I could use it before wasting the TM, :/

Try it out by teaching it to someone then not saving it. I don't no but i'd like to

I think your Alakazam could then use Recycle and get the Berry back. Idk what you mean by using Recycle offensively...it only works on your hold item, and restores it if you used it up.

Well, as far as "offense" goes, I was thinking if a Pokémon had 'Fling' somehow using Recycle after that would bring the Berry back....or something.

I fully admit to being an idiot when it comes to the new moves the programmers put into the game.

That's good news though, about getting it back after using it for getting rid of Paralysis or something. Thanks for the answers.
