So i was taking a leisurely walk down victory road when an idea struck me, what if you could continue to make your opponent flinch so as that they could never hit you? I was wondering what would be the best pokemon for it and its moveset, item etc.. What are your thoughts?

Well, this topic has kind of been covered. Once there was a topic of a flinch togekiss and a TormentBanding poke. Im pretty sure if you lok around you can find some things, if not I can give you a few movesets.

Try Aero with Rockslide, FFang, TFang, and Iron Head.

the idea with flinch Togekiss, is that Air Slash has 30% * Serene Grace = 60%. If you give it Choice Scarf, it should outspeed most pokes. Because of Serene Grace, it's one of the best flinchers (and I lost 2 battles yesterday because of it )

I am not positive about how much a kings rock helps the flinch rate on the slashkiss, but that also improves the chances for the opponent to flinch.

actually, probably want Timid for speed. I have also seen people use Choice Scarf on that Togekiss set.

I actually went more with a
Togekiss @ Kings rock
Timid | Serene Grace
252 Sp Atk, 252 Spd, 6 HP
~Shadow ball
~Air Slash
~Aura Sphere
~softboiled
to me its like a attack first and to hell with stat boosting moves.
works well with me, because if u use are slash first rather than nasty plot, there is a chance you could keep them flinching without getting damaged

Yes TogeHax has been around for a while... Togekiss makes a better Tank than a Sweeper and if you Paralyze the opponent you outspeed them most of the time here is the set I use
Togekiss @ Leftovers
Bold // Serene Grace
252 HP // 176 Def // 80 Sp. Def
Roost
Aura Sphere
Thunder Wave
Air Slash
It works very well and it has a high enough Base Sp. Atk stat to work with.

i disagree with your tank set, if togekiss has a better spec. att then spec. def, and an hp and def that is barely up to par to be a tank, then why would you have it be a tank?

if you're trying to flinch, then more defense and HP allows you to take more hits from non-flinch turns.

Yes and from personal experience I have found this set to work extremely well it can take hits and dish them out... Also it has decent speed nothing to write home about, but Choice Scarf is a Choice item and those can be turned against you. And to all using King's Rock most people ban those items from online play. Thats what it means when it says No Hax Items.

Seriously, if they ban King's Rock they should ban Air Slash Togekiss, it's haxxy enough already with 60% flinch (Serene Grace)

I agree Togekiss is an amazing flincher and it already takes advantage
of its ability Serene Grace in a good way.

King's Rock adds 0% to the flinch rate of Air Slash.
King's Rock only adds a flinch chance to moves that don't already have a secondary effect, AFAIK.

Ive found my luxray to be a surprisingly good flincher. I use spark or discharge (depending on the opponents def and spec. def) and if the opponent gets paralyzed i use bite until they fall. if it doesnt flinch them, they are often immobilized anyway. it works well

Having a choice scarf to pump speed is a good idea, but I personally prefer paralysis support; having a 60% off flinching gets even better when paired with a 25% chance of not moving
