Why is it that I don't see Light Screen or Reflect on many movesets? I would imagine that on certain pokemon they would be very beneficial. An example would be Reflect on Blissey because you know your opponent is going to be using physical to take it out, or Light Screen on (or set up for) Salamence because you money says Ice Beam is coming. I know they run out but they make your pokemon THAT much harder to kill, it really sounds worth it. So why aren't they more popular?

And don't say brick break. If they have to go grab a figting pokemon with Brick Break to take down my light screen, then my salamence has had ample time to DD up and begin sweeping.

Some moves are simply more useful, I guess.

true, light screen and reflect are great moves, but if you had sheer cold or something that would kill them in one hit, then you wouldn't even need it in the first place.

...which are even less used than Reflect/Light Screen. In fact, many people ban OHKO moves.

however, while Reflect/Light Screen halve damage for Blissey of Salamence, they really don't have the defense to take too many hits even with it up.

if you had it on a mixed wall it could rock the boat. I'm gonna look for a toxi trapper moveset and try and add that one in.

Bronzong slanted towards one defense, with the defense boosted of the other (IE: Trained for Defense and given Light Screen) makes for one heck of a solid wall; even gives you something to pseudo-pass onto teammate if they are weak on the special defense side of things.

Bronzong @ Leftovers
Relaxed | Levitate
~ Light Screen
~ Stealth Rock
~ Earthquake
~ Gyro Ball

It's what I'm using currently, and it works great. Stealth Rock or Light Screen depending on what my opponent has out, and then away you go. Gives you a bit of a solid boost and decent protection if you need to switch to something that can't take special hits as well.
