I use focus sashes on several pokemon, and I can say that I have never seen this glitch; opponents have reduced me to one hp, switched out, and killed me the following turn no problem. This is quite strange.

Can you get it to work for you Missingo? So, if you have a sash, and the oponent (somehow) switches out. Will you survive the other attck?
And what if you roared him away instead of him switching out? Does it works?
If it is then I have a really good combo to exploit that glitch.

Even if there is a glitch, don't exploit it =
That ruins games that would be good, case and point Diablo 2.

I'll see if I can do it again. I'll post in here if it happens again.

If the glitch actually worked, this would be a way to explout it:
Forretress @Lefties
-Spikes
-Stealth rock
-Toxic spikes
-Explosion
You just need one way to do passive damage, but forry has 3 so its faster.
And
Level 5 Swinub @Focus sash
-Protect
-Roar
A level 5 pokemon is too fragile, so any hit should get it to 1hp. Whirlwind keeps making the other switch thus (hopefully) activating the so called glitch. Protect is there in to scout case you think the other is going to use toxic or will o wisp, (in wich case you would send something like guts Hera) but they will usually attack. I choose swinub because its inmune to both hail and sandstorm, wich would be a problem for a focus sasher.
So you just have to keep roaring away things crippling them with pasive damage. Not a really fun or efective way to win at the battle tower, but it could totally be an orignal last resource if you are having to much trouble wining it at the traditional way.
If I werent so lazy I would try out if roar + focus sash really works. Otherwise this combo is just garbage.

I have a shed as one of my regulars, but haven't seen this happen...
but now that I think of it, i've never seen any one switch afterwards either.
i'm willing to let some one test it against me, pm me for battle.
If you worried abt stats, i'll let you win
