Here's one:

{dunsparce} @razor fang/kings rock
Jolly, Scerne grace
EV: 252HP, 6def., 252speed

Move set:
Headbutt
Rock slide
Rest/roost
Snore/glare

Annoys the crap out of them, flinch them until you are weak. Rest and flinch again. Suprises them out of their pants when you first send it out, not the best idea but sooo fun  .

Assuming that you've used it, how many hits can it take? It needs to take 1 hit at least to paralyze the opponent so it can really outspeed it - 45 base Spd won't let it outspeed sweepers too well.

Oh i have been so waiting for this question. as you can see, my name is yanmafan, and I would definately go with yanma, NOT yanmega.

Yanma with compound eyes and timid nature

Hypnosis
Uturn
Whirlwind
Air slash

remember that with compound eyes, hypnosis and air slash will have 100 percent accuracy. this moveset is more powerful with a bped agility. It can be VERY dangerous with the sleep clause on (hypnosis, whirlwind repeat), and can be a good combo with another pokemon like guardevoir that knows dream eater, as u can u turn out.

I really doubt a Yanma will be outspeeding anything important, nevermind surviving an attack to use Whirlwind.

Pretty much all you have going for this is a high-accuracy Hypnosis. Doesn't Air Slash already have 100% accuracy? :/

There are better Pokemon for sets like this.

I don't really use a team. I just mix and match the Pokemon I have trained.

you could use a ninjask as a physical sweeper with:

X scissor
night slash
aerial ace
swords dance

Its so funny when they switch in a hazer after you swords dance and you end up sweeping it! XD

If you gave it BP over swords, you could switch off to a yanma with compoundeyes

but if your using those two, you might as well go full on bug, most bugs learn baton pass anyways.

and then you have an entire team of baton passers.

Not really, there are some OU thrown in there but we like to battle w/ poke's that look cool or "mean something"... or if we capture a shiny we use that

I still dont want a bug pokemon though cuz in my experience they get crushed

first of all, yanma has a 95 base speed and with a + speed nature and possibly a bped agility he is very fast. secondly, the idea is that the opponent will be asleep when yanma uses whirlwind. and thirdly, air slash has a 95 percent accuracy; i know that sounds a little too picky, but ive seen it miss many times. I know this set has flaws, but the idea is to use a unique pokemon that u dont see a lot.

well i have already trained 3 (ninjask, Vespiquen, armaldo) but armaldo seems to be the limit of their attacking ability
I would like a steel type or a psychic seeing as I only have one of each

I don't know how my Dunsparce would stand up in battles cause I haven't used it. It has good HP and a bit of defense so I think it could take a hit. It's really just something that I've been thinking about, and hey, you asked for random  .

in terms of psychic, why not go for mr mime? he has decent speed, especially with a plus speed nature and Evs maxed out, which usually lets him get a barrier off first thing. Couple that with the filter ability and he can be hard to take down, not to mention his strong offense. Also makes a good baton passer. i suggest this moveset:

Psychic
Barrier
T-bolt
Baton pass

Ps: watch out for Weavile. it's a mr. mime killer for sure

Psychic pokemon to look into:

Jynx (ice type kills it, but also opens up many move possibilities)
Girafarig (Maybe Im just some sort of stupid, but I keep attacking this thing with shadow ball)

Steel:
Magnezone (hes pretty cool already, he might not fit the "random" description)
Probopass (its a nose, random enough)
aggron (he look decent)
metagross, cause its underused
jirachi too

Jynx, girafarig, and magnezone are your best bet. Ill supply movesets when I feel they are needed, I dont think youll be picking all of em so movesets are useless at this point.

If you want to be original, you can try to train 6 UU or NU Pokemon.

Who knows, you may find a nice strategy with those chosen Pokemon and discover that they are not as useless as everyone think.

magikarps original, splash, tackle, flail, focus sash. Its amazing. use it.

Or you could use moderately good pokemon that everybody uses. But I guess this topic wasnt to argue about why you should succumb to peer pressure, you really just wanted an original pokemon...

do you have ruby? Hypno can learn ANY move on ruby, absolutely anything. get assist on it, then use assist with a smeargle in your team, and you can learn absolutely any move. same with delcatty, and any other pokemon that learns assist.

Random? Try Rattata.

Rattata @ Focus Sash
~Quick Attack
~Endeavor

First take a hit and wait Sash to activate. Then Endeavor+Quick Attack is a guaranteed KO. Though TTar can spoil you.

How 'bout octellioury (don't know how to spell it, it's the orange octopus).

Ability: Sniper @ razor claw
Brave/Quiet, 150 attack, 252 spec. attack, 108 spec. defense

-octazooka
-ice beam
-focus energy
-gunk shot

Focus energy + razor claw + sniper=Fuuuuun when your lucky :D . It can take a hit from bolt or some special grass move so you can dish out gunk shot as your finisher. Again, haven't tried it but a good set to put on this not-so-used pokes.

You can try this:

Ampharos @ Choice Specs, Static
Modest, 252 Spd, 252 Sp. Atk, 6 HP

Discharge
Power Gem
Signal Beam
Charge

Special Sweeper.

As far as I know, Ampharos is not considered OU.

i already got one, tell me what u think

Octillery
Suction Cups
@Leftovers
Double Team
Octozooka
Ice Beam
Toxic

Once He gets goin and is dt'ed up he kills most things, toxics the party as he becomes nigh unhitable
hazers can usually be killed w/ 2 ice beams

Octillery does not have the speed nor the defense to use double team. a solorbeam/t-bolt/anything else that's STABed and is grass or electric will take him out before he gets a chance to double team. If you're lucky he'll survive one hit but one double team doesnt cause enough misses to rely on. IMHO, the only way to use octillery is to give him thunderwave and give yourself a chance at a few more hits. i would then go with a wring out/ brine combo, and hope that they cant move from paralysis. keep an ice beam for grass types (and many others).
Octillery would look like this:
thunderwave
wring out
brine
ice beam

any nature that lowers speed would be good.
