HELloooooooo :D
I'm currently raising an Electivire and a Curselax but I'm not sure if I should have Electivire hold Expert Belt/Life Orb and if my curselax should have return or bodyslam . My Electivire has Ice and Thunderpunches with cross chop and EQ while my curselax has Return/BodySlam, Rest, Curse, and Crunch. Any help and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

P.S Does it go Elite4>Lite4>FrontierBrain>GymLeader for the forum ranks?hehe sorry if that was a stupid question.

for ur electivire, it really comes down to ur choice. That moveset hits i think 13/17 types for SE, which is prime expert belt material. However, the life orb boost is consistant and greater. Personally I don't like the recoil aspect of life orb and would go with expert belt. However, if u don't like it, u can always change the 2 around.

As for the snorlax, i'd go with bodyslam. Lax really isnt an offensive machine, even with curse. Bodyslam will get u a chance for paralysis which is useful for crippling ur opponent's sweepers.

Oh...Thanks I guess I'll give Snorlax Bodyslam seeing how bodyslam can be effective and as for electivire I'll give it LifeOrb since..I dunno lol.

Expert belt gives 1.3x only to the types you're super effective against. Life orb gives either 1.3x or 1.5x to ALL types and ALL moves, at the cost of a little life per turn.

If you want a curselax, return gives you more power to just OHKO them.
Don't forget crunch on your curselax too

OK

I wouldn't waste the Life Orb on anything that doesn't already have high HP. Personally, I'd put it on a Lapras

Lapras+Life Orb
Modest
Shell Armor
Surf
Ice Beam
Rest
Sleep Talk

Return may have a higher base Atk power, but it can't paralyze like Body Slam.

life orb boost is 1.3x, with recoil as 10% of ur poke's hp

expert belt its 1.2x on SE attacks.

Info taken from Smogon Items thread.

Life orb it is! Since E-vire has such disgusting defenses anyway  and as for the snorlax.. I'm still not sure since killer and falchion both bring up great points but I think I'll go with return just because it's more powerful and yes my curselax does have crunch for ghosts :D

The best use of the life orb is to put it on something that doesn't need the HP, that is, it can't usually survive the first attack. Electivire is electric, meaning that he is weak to the most common attack in the game, Earthquake.

That being said, about 2-3 of your opponent's pokes can OHKO electivire. So might as well put that HP to a good use, no?

I would probably go with bodyslam for the snorlax. The chance of paralysis is very helpful. As for life orb vs. Expert Belt, your electivire has great type coverage. Id go with expert belt.

Oh yeah one more question...what nature should my curselax be? Curse-lax is still theoretical but I already got the E-vire done. It has 31 Speed and 21 Attack IVs with ZERO defense Evs lol so I'm giving it Life orb since its defense is horrible and it doesnt have perfect attack Ivs cuz I got lazy breeding. Oh yeah E-vires nature is adamant. Thanks for the suggestions.

Snorlax ature depends on what u want it to do. If u want some special wall capabilities, go Careful with 252 in sp def. If u want more offense, go Adamant. I would suggest Careful, 252hp/ 252sp def/ 6 atk. U have curse to boost the physical side anyway.
