During my time away from Psypoke, I actually became a pretty hard core trainer of the ice type.

Weavile is possibly the best Ice Pokemon you can get. Actually, scrap possibly, it really is. Choice Band Weavile slaughters loads of things. You want this Pokemon. Badly.

Abomasnow is really good for setting up never ending Hail. Use this in conjunction with...

Walrein. Ice Body is just an ice type version of Rain Dish, and when you combine that with Lefties, you have a rather nice Stalling Pokemon. Blizzard > Ice Beam on this one, due to Hail's 100% effect.

Articuno is pretty cool for this imo. It's nice for stalling, as it gets Reflect and Roost.

Regice. You need this Pokemon. My one has this set: Ice Beam / Charge Beam / Rest / Sleep Talk and @Lefties. This set is wicked, because while you are sleeping, you either attacked with a move that 50% increases your SPatk, or a STAB attack that would benefit from the previously gained Stat boost. Add Hail, and this thing is a monster.

And Hail most certainly does increase Blizzard's accuracy to 100%. Believe me, I've been using my Hail team for a while now, and it's excellent, Blizzard does not miss.

Oh, and Mamoswine is pretty damn good too. Choice Band Ice Shard is a laugh to use against the 600 Dragons. ;)

Welcomekanna is right about one thing. stealth rock will need to be avoided. this is why you need a weavile to outspeed and hopefully ONKO a stealt rock poke before it gets a chance. Usually stealth rock poke's are rock/ground, so keep a brick break and an ice punch on weavile. As far as rock pokes not having high special defense, this is not necessarily true. a sandstorm significantly tips the scales, as it boosts their special defense an gets rid of you hail. you should be fine though, if you keep abomasnow for hail support. this is why i defended abomasnow earlier on and got accused of unneccessary (no idea how to spell that) argument. :? o well. guess i was too brash the first time

Edit. MAKE SURE you watch out for fighting types with obsidianwolf's cuno set with reflect and roost. a stabed break would not be good. actually, fighting types in general need to be watched out for. aerial ace on weavile and psychic on froslass perhaps?

{yanma} fan,
You're quite right but if this team is for competitive battling :) (Wi-Fi Battles,Battle Tower, etc.)
Smart Trainers probably won't use Sandstorm because many of them prefers Diversity
Sandstorm will hurt the Rest of the Team ( 5 turns only unless summoned by Sand Stream )
