How are they removed? The psydex says any non-flying/levitating poison can remove toxic spikes. But it doesn't say anything about Rapid Spin.

Likewise, Rapid Spin only mentions spikes, not toxic spikes.

Does rapid spin remove toxic spikes?

Yeah Rapid Spin removes Toxic Spikes.

Toxic Spikes get removed when a Poison type hits the field. Almost anyone but Weezing, because Weezing levitates. If I'm correct, non Levitating/Flying Steel types also remove them. I'm pretty sure flyers/levitators only avoid the Spikes.

Just the two. First layer induces normal poison (like the poison you'd get from Poison Point or Poisonpowder) whereas two layers induces Toxic poison (like the poison you get from.,...Toxic? :P )

so, forretress would be a prime spinner?
Steel avoids poisoning
Non flying/levitating steels remove toic-spikes
It learns rapid spin

Is that all true?

He'd be immune to the poison spike, but only a poison type removes them just by switching in, as far as defeating all sorts of stuff that gets removed by rapid spin, Claydol is the way to go.

Levitate immunes all except stealth rock which only does half normal damage.

Wait, FaceLess, are you saying that levitators avoid toxic spikes as well?

And, are you saying that rapid spin can remove toxic spikes?

-Rapid Spin removes Spikes, Toxic Spikes and Stealth Rock.
-Non Flying/Levitating Steel Pokemon are immune to Toxic Spikes, but they DON'T remove it.
-Non Flying/Levitating Poison Pokemon remove Toxic Spikes.
-Flying and Levitating Pokemon avoid Spikes and Toxic Spikes.
