There is Gengar, my 1st choice followed by Duskull, Mismagius, Froslass, Drifblim, Spiritomb and Shedinja. Okay, the rest I don't think are useful in MOST situations . I always choose Gengar when it comes to Ghost Types cos it sweeps and annoys people a lot. Duskull is very useful as an Offensive Tank while Shedinja, I believe can be used effectively to mess up an Opponent's battle strategy cos it'll cause a lot of switches. Mismagius & Froslass are similar to Gengar in a sense but they're not as effective. Drifblim can be used in Unorthodox baton Passing methods but other than that I don't think is useful anywhere else.

'Duskull'?! i believe you mean....

Dusknoir

The ultimate mixed Wall! just add Water! or hp evs
Has a VERY usable attack stat, gets the usual ghostie moves, including WoW, Shadow Sneak, and many useful other offensive parts, like the punches, EQ, Status inducers, Ghost Curse, mean look, anti-Rapid Spinner (you cant spin a ghost) Movesets, ALL you could need!

Dusknoir is great, but it depends on what you want to use it for, Killing Rapid Spinners, Just Tanking, some sort of toxi-Trapping, The thing with dusknoir is not 'What' its 'why'.

Dusknoir @ Lefties
Careful | Pressure
252 HP, 204 Sp Def, 54 Def
Will-O-Wisp
EQ
Ice Punch/Shadow Punch/Shadow Sneak
Rest/Pain Split

Will-o-Wisp for walling physical sweepers, EQ/Ice combo to hit almost every poke in the game, Shadow punch for strong STAB or Shadow Sneak to suprise the enemy. Rest for healing status, Pain Split for hurt&heal. Just be careful of the switch then >.>

And there's practically nothing that this thing can do uniquely...

i agree with all of them...dusknior is a good moveset person..it has a large variety of movesets it can learn and no one will really know what kind of dusknior you would have...so dusknoir could be good as a sneaky movest pokemon and stopping rapid spinners lol

I'd like to use MisMagius but Gengar is better in sweeping, you can also try Dusknoir, it has very low HP though.... :(

i lol'ed

if you're in for plain tanking for a dusknoir, fire punch is recommended to hit heracross and hit it [super] effectively. if you're not shy of heracross, brick break/shadow punch is the norm (BBrick hits TTar, and ghost+fighting=no resist)

Gengar: Special sweeper, 4x bug resist and 3 immunes. Can WoW, Hypnosis, and Destiny Bond. Good Spd and SAttk.
Froslass: Spiker, Destiny Bond with Sash, can TWave, good Spd and usable SAttk.
Dusknoir: Wall. Can WoW, attack to put a dent in things, and annoy with Pain Split. Be sure to max HP before touching defenses. It can emergancy Destiny Bond. Sets up Trick Room if you want. Lackluster CMer.
Banette: Meh. Can WoW/Hypnosis/TWave, Grudge/DBond/Spite, absorb sleep and scout for items. It learns Screech and has a good Attk stat, and a mediocre CM set. That's about it.
Rotomu: Special sweeper. Can Trick Specs/Scarf and TWave/WoW/DBond you.
Mismagius: Bulkier Gengar that can CM. Good SAttk/Spd/SDef, bad everything else. One of the few special sweepers that can lol in Blissey's face. It can also Perish Trap somewhat effectively. Pain Split/Hypnosis/WoW/Spite.
Spiritomb: A better Dusknoir imo. Less defenses, but can attack from both sides. Pursuit, Shadow Sneak, Sucker Punch; all STAB. It can CM, WoW/Hypnosis, and NP sweep. It will Taunt and set up on you.
Shedinja: Hard to use but always my favorite. WoW, Grudge, Spite, Heal Block, Swords Dance. Protect for scouting, stick a Sash on it, use with a sppinner and a weather changer.

All come with standard STAB moves, and a few surprises.
