For me, its Infernape, and it entirely counters my (current) team. It has a powerful arsenal of attacks and is entirely unpredictable. Ugly, too, which is why I don't train him.

Oh, and there have been loads of Skarms, too, which drive me nuts. I've only seen one Blissey on Wifi though.

I think Salamence, Tyranitar, Garchomp, Blissey, and Skarmory are heavily used.

LOL You train based on how cool the pokemon looks too!

Every WiFi battle the guy thinks Infernape will beat my Sceptile, but I always OHKO Infernape with EQ.

Yup, that's why you'll never see a Blissey on my team. Regice all the way! :P

And I've been contemplating training a SubSeeding Sceptile recently, though the EQ sounds rather nice...cheers. ;)

Dusknoir is another one I see a lot of. I have my own, and it is designed specifically to take down other Dusknoir (even more speicifcally; my rival on a different forum. His Dusknoir frequently decimates my team...)

Blissey. Though, my Charizard takes care of SkarmBliss - Overheat that Skarm outta way, then wish good luck to Blissey at taking LO Brick Breaks.

Another one is Tyranitar, and sandstorm screws up my team. Especially considering that I don't have a weather changing move.

Weavile is ebil too, not to mention Salamence. You can never know what set its running: Mixed, DD, Choice Band, Specs, or even WishPasser...

Problem with dargons? Try Mamoswine. Or just put Ice shard on that Weaville you have.

According to Shoddy, the most overused pokemon are:

1. Blissey (30691 usages)
2. Garchomp (27092 usages)
3. Gyarados (21567 usages)
4. Gengar (20989 usages)
5. Tyranitar (20441 usages)
6. Salamence (17332 usages)
7. Weavile (16415 usages)
8. Heracross (16319 usages)
9. Metagross (16114 usages)
10.Skarmory (15356 usages

Linky

These are the pokemon that you need to make sure your team can handle.

Weaville in front of TTar? NO way! At least Weaville doesn't have that enormous movepool wich makes it so hard to counter. Really, Weaville is far more predictable than Tyranitar

I'm sorry, but "OU" or "Overused" does not mean the pokemon who are used most. It means how good the pokemon is overall, cosidering movepool, types, abilities, and stats.

For example, Tyranitar's total stats put together are the same as Mew's, 600. However, with Sandstream, he gets x1.5 Sp Def, so that's really 650 total stats with a great movepool and a choice of good items you can use.

Statistically, TTar's the best there is in OU category. That's why he's the only non-legendary to be considered for Ubers.

And, actually, being predictable is a bad thing.

o i'm sorry, cause every website says "OU" "OVERUSED" means "COMMONLY USED" on teams, even the term itself just says everything...yes Ttar has much better stats than weavile and a better ability, but weavile is has much more uses mainly for killing off dragons and sweeping....why do you think most salamences have a focus stash, or a garchomp holdin a yache berry or Choice Scarf....it''s mainly for ice moves, but mostly weaviles, because they know weavile is faster than them and COMMON on competative teams....not many ppl have a Ttar counter because they know Ttar isnt that big of a threat as weavile...and get a fighting move on Ttar and it's gone...the same thing goes for weavile too, but weavile is too fast be hit by a fighting move..other than mach punch...in terms of being predictable...that's exactly why weavile is more of an OU because everyone knows it and it's COMMONLY used on teams...and as a physical sweeper

Ok, here's Smogon's OU List. I have rated each Pokemon on a scale of 1-3 for their commonness, with 3 being the most common and 1 being the least:

Quote:
Aerodactyl - 2
Azelf - 2
Blissey - 3
Breloom - 1
Bronzong - 2
Celebi - 2
Cresselia - 3
Donphan - 2
Dragonite - 2
Dugtrio - 1
Dusknoir - 3
Electivire - 3
Forretress - 2
Garchomp - 3
Gengar - 3
Gliscor - 2
Gyarados - 3
Heatran - 1
Heracross - 3
Hippowdon - 2
Infernape - 2
Jirachi - 1
Lucario - 2
Machamp - 2
Magnezone - 2
Metagross - 3
Porygon-Z - 3
Rhyperior - 2
Salamence - 3
Skarmory - 3
Slowbro - 1
Starmie - 3
Suicune - 2
Swampert - 3
Tangrowth - 2
Togekiss - 3
Tyranitar - 3
Vaporeon - 1
Weavile - 3
Weezing - 2
Yanmega - 1
Zapdos - 1

Just my personal opinion, I'm sure people will disagree with some.
