Since we are sticking sets for certain pokes now i am doing flygon. Specifically the nerd version:

Flygon@specs
Modest
252SA, 252SPD, 6HP

Earth Power
Draco Meteor
Dragon Pulse
Fire Blast/Flamethrower

Beast things that expect a physical attack with a STAB'ed Draco Meteor. Use draco meteor early in the game, and pulse later when you can't switch as readily. Hit and run, mainly. Giga Drain for Swampert and his bulky friends, Draco Meteor and Earth Power are STAB moves. Fire Blast for Heracross, Skarmory, Forretress, Celebi and Levitate Bronzong who resists/is immune to both of Gon's STABs and Giga Drain.

Flygon@ Choice Band
Adamant
252ATK, 252SPD, 6HP
~Dragon Claw
~Earthquake
~Crunch
~U-Turn

The Band set. Pretty self-explanatory.

Flygon@ Salac Berry
Adamant
252ATK, 252SPD, 6HP
~Endure
~Flail
~Fire Punch
~Dragon Claw
Now this is a gimmicky one. Endure down to 1 HP, let Salac activate and now Flail is at max power, 200 iirc. Fire Punch hits Skarm but it is doubtful that it will OHKO. Dragon claw is the usual STAB move.

Imitaiting SpecsMence, though the ground attack is great for STAB,

BTW... do not use Fire Blast instead of Flamethrower, DON'T...sweepers can't afford to miss

^What? Then why did you suggest Stone Edge on a Garchomp set? And Draco Meteor's accuracy is only 90, and you didnt say anything about that.

Fire Blast is fine.

Maybe he thinks that only one move at the most should have less than 100% accuracy.

But then again, sweepers also can't afford not to OHKO the opponent. It's all very well and good getting a guaranteed 100% 2HKO on the opponent's Heracross, but by that time, it may have scored a critical hit Night Slash on you when you could have OHKOed it with the innaccurate Fire Blast.

The point of the specs set is to be a hit and run. Switch in on something if you can, predict and kill. The main advantage of flygon over salamence is SR resist and electric immune. You guys are supposed to put other sets and I will add them to the first post (i think). Be sure to list dis/advantages as well.

Did someone say "other sets"? Listing all the sets:

@ Choice Specs
~Draco Meteor
~Earth Power
~Fire Blast
~Giga Drain
The Specs set.

@ Choice Band
~Dragon Claw
~Earthquake
~Crunch
~U-Turn
The Band set. Pretty self-explanatory.

@ Salac Berry
~Endure
~Flail
~Roost/Fire Punch
~Dragon Claw
Now this is a gimmicky one. Endure down to 1 HP, let Salac activate and now Flail is at max power, 200 iirc. The choice between Roost and Fire Punch is up to you. At 1 HP, it is very vulnerable to Quick-Attack type attacks, so you may want to slap Roost on it to heal on the switch-in. However, without Fire Punch Skarm and Forretress wall you to hell, so...

@ Leftovers
~Double Team
~Roost
~Toxic
~Protect
Relies on too much luck, meh.

@ Wide Lens
~Supersonic
~Screech
~U-Turn
~Stone Edge
Evil. Relies on Wide Lens so once you are Knocked Off you are dead though. Supersonic + Screech like no tomorrow while racking up SR damage. Those who are smart enough to stay in get SMACKED in face with a fully accurate Stone Edge.

...That's all I guess.

Don't just copy and paste from somewhere else though.

Oops...I forgot to mention you can use FB, but my point is that sweeper cannot afford to miss...besides I assume Flygon can OKHO Heracross with Flamethrower, right, but...what if the heracross has a Choice Scarf, it would probably OKHO Flygon, before it attacks

My sentiments exactly...Sweepers CANNOT afford to miss cos if that happens you would jolly well have wasted a Pokemon....not OHKOing the opponent may be bad but your Pokemon would have at least done serious damages before it fainted....compared with missing completely I say a 100% hit with 25 less power is more worth it and safe...you'll be in bad trouble if lady luck chooses to be your enemy when you use Fire Blast...1 thing though....I seriously doubt a Heracross can KO a Flygon in one hit without a Super Effective attack unless of course the Flygon has very low Hp and Def stats.
