Hey guys, I was gone for a while... Life handed me a sack of lemons so I squeezed the juice in life's eyes... But that's not why I'm here.

During the time I was gone I designed a Revenge killing-Tyranitar solely for the purpose of getting rid of my roommates Garchomp. And it works nicely.

I'll share it with you now.
RETALITAR
{tyranitar} + Leftovers / Lagging Tail (recover HP / be slower than EVERYTHING)
Impish - Sand Stream
252 HP / 129 Def / 129 SpDef <--------------- PREFERRED
126 HP / 126 Atk / 129 Def / 129 SpDef <-- also works
Payback
Avalanche
Earthquake
Stealth Rock

I bred this Tyranitar to have full attack IVs and little to no speed IVs. Mine has an attack IV of 31 and speed IV of 3. This way Retalitar is sure to make full use of Payback and Avalanche and still get to hold Leftovers.

It's an unconventional build for TTar because it's purely defensive, with EVs pumped into HP and Defenses, and the sandstorm raises the special defense further. It survives whatever Chomp throws at it and KOs with Avalanche.
The build with Attack EVs gains much from the attack boost, but it doesn't have enough HP in my opinion to qualify as a defender. It just becomes a bulky attacker at that point.

Payback for STAB this move can't be beat. Better than Crunch, provided you take a hit first, which you will.
Avalanche for pesky dragons and whatever else can't take the cold.
EQ is the coolest move ever it's pretty much a DUH on any physical attacker.
SR is there to bust up players who switch to counters... Like Weavile.

So there ya go.
If there's already a moveset out there like this one... I've never seen it. Seriously. I came up with this on my own.
Comments?

If it's supposed to be slow, why not go with Sassy? (+Def, -Speed, I think)

His Garchomp could always OHKO you with brick break if it's adamant or jolly+life orb. Also since TTar always brings sandstorm up avalanche is only 80% accurate to revenge KO him.

Sassy and impish both do about the same here, though with impish you might be able to use EQ 1st on something a tad slower.

Also you could always use Iron Def (to be more defensive) or Fire punch (Kills scizor/forretress/abamasnow and hurts skarm) over SR. but both need a platinum move tutor.

Looks good, something that will surprise and hurt those who expect a standard set TTar

Missingno, what kind of Garchomp does he use? I used Psypoke's damage calculator, and if it's an SD Garchomp, and it gets in that Swords Dance, then your Tyranitar is guaranteed to be OHKO'd. Same thing happens if it goes up against a Choice Bander, although those are less common.

Your set looks alright. If you're willing to rebreed, Curse is a nice option in the last slot.

Sassy is +SpDef -Speed. Relaxed is +Def -Speed.
Thanks to Sand Stream I didn't think I needed the Special Defense boost so I went with Impish. I've found that he's slow enough as is, and Sand Stream adds quite a bit to Sp Def. Also, for some reason, people are more willing to make physical attacks against a TTar rather than special...

Fire Punch won't do enough damage against Skarmory to make a difference.
Iron Defense may be a good choice, however.

@ Volke
His Chomp is like this:
Jolly + idk what item but I know its not a Life Orb
Swords Dance
Outrage
Earthquake
Stone Edge

I bring in Retalitar during Outrage (I'd be stupid to do it any other time)

It does about an average of 104 damage to a typical set, so a possible 3HKO but a likely 4HKO... Which is by no means good if you got something better to switch in to skarm but if you end up stuck against one Payback is resisted, Avalanche will be doing little damage since most skarm wont attack TTar, it'll just set up spikes/toxic and whirlwind, and EQ is only good if you are slower and can catch it on a roost.

As long as Retalitar's speed IV is low enough it'll be slower than any Skarmory.
There might be a little luck involved, but it is possible to hit Skarm with EQ. You just have to bee good at predicting when they'll use Roost.
