DON'T FLY
1/3 of fully evolved dragons don't fly
YES THEY DO!!! In the Darkrai movie, Dialga n Palkia were in the air when they were fighting, thus 'flying'. Kingdra has wings enough to fly, and the pokedex description for Garchomp says it can. (thx Ender for posting that)
You sure Kingdra can fly? I realize it has those things on its back, but they're more like fins than wings, really. They're not even that big. It'd make more sense as fins, especially since it' part-water.
Kingdra is fashioned after a sea dragon, . Those"wings" are its fins

Agreed and to further disprove that one should notice that kingdra only has One wing-like finThus It could never fly
also there is a fine line between levitating and flying
altaria may learn EQ but its not super effective verse Ice Duh
try steel wing for best results

**Facepalm**
Steel wing has horrible typing and power. Assuming Altaria is a DDuser just use dragon claw/outrage, the latter doing more damage neutral then steel wing SE. Special based sets can flamethrower/Fireblast for better damage. Otherwise you shouldn't attempt to fight an Ice type off it's 70base attack, as even defensive based sets will be 1-2HKO'd regardless.

Pidgeot and Swellow.
Pidgeot is 30 levels lower than Swellow (traded it to Emerald), at Lv.83 Swellow has 180 att. and 250 speed,
Pidgeot at Lv.53 has 130 Att. and 140 Speed, both with the nature that lowers Sp.Att and Raises speed.
Xatu's only good use might be fly, any dragon pokemon (except kingdra) is screwed when faced with Ice moves, but not Ice Pokemon, Fearow is good for drill peck, Skarmory is great with Spikes, Steel wing, Drill Peck (breed with fearow, etc.), and agility, Yanma/Yanmega(?) are flying, fast and can learn good moves.
Don't ask about D/P/Pt, I don't have any of them.
Generally if there is/are
No evolutions: Some powerful, some average, some weak
1 evolution: Better, some better than 2 evolution pokemon in long run
2 evolutions:Most are very powerful

I think it's Tropius. It can learn grass and flying moves. And, I kinda just think it's awsome to have a flying dino... If you teach it solarbeam, stomp, fly, and sweet scent, it's pretty sweet.

How can people forget about ? It's the only Pokemon who was able to fly because it desired to so much. It's also one out of 2 Pokemon who learn Fly, an HM move, by Level-up.
The game is weird, you've no idea how many Pokemon who can Fly, "can't". Here's a weird one: Yes it can fly, I've seen one fly in the anime series.
There are Flying type Pokemon who can't fly too. Like and . By the way, I've never seen a fly before too.

Why isn't Salamence in the list? Or Gyrados? Or are we just talking about bird-like Pokemans? At any rate, I picked Honchkrow, cause mine pretty much owns, and he looks coolio.
EDIT: Whoops, didn't realize Azurerath already pointed this out before me. Ha, sorry.

as always for in-game purposes: you can use any pokemon you want and beat the game (I am beating the game with all water pokemon)
this thread was created a few months ago, and bogdylove probably has already chosen his flying pokemon... so why are we still using it?
sorry if I killed the thread...

Good question. I have a good answer for that.
And that answer is: locked.

If anything, I should be thanking you for giving me a good moment to finally close this thread. Thanks!
