To what it may concern to the original poster (and Registeel_Rocks apparently ), you may want to post all of the rules that apply to your tournament. This, of course, meaning any clauses that are put into effect and what effectively is or isn't banned and/or limited. This way the thread won't expand to another two pages due to concerns over rules that aren't listed.

I was wondering...could I give you a couple pokemon to add to the prize pool? They're clones off Emerald but not quite as impressive as yours, Groudon, Kyogre, Rayquaza. If it's ok, I'd like to donate at least one of them.

even at lvl 5 they are not totally different
I wouldn't mind haveing it be lvl 5 and under (and of course EVs would be legal)

Khoufu, we have enough prizes, but thanks for offering. All battles will be at level 1 unless you and your opponet agree to have it with level 5 generation 3 pokemon, but keep in mind evs are illegal.

Did anyone else notice the problem with this statement? If you can get 510 evs onto a level 5 pokemon through legit means, I'll owe you a coke.

Haha, you found a loophole in what I said. When you both commented on Evs, I infered it as through Ev training to make a pokemon actually good, and said the 510 as something like: 252 sp. attack, 252 speed, 6 hp, not 100 all around with mixed Evs(which is horrid for 99% of pokemon in competitive play.)

Hey, when exactly do we start the tournament? Can you put a date on the first post or something? It just says 'in a week' and not a date, not even which weekday; Tuesday, Thursday, etc.

Well I didn't say fully EV train
But there is a way to do it, I fully EV trained a Lv 50 latias in Emerald without increaseing it one lv, To do it I had to Give it Vitamins First Then I Battled with pokerus, and I swicthed in every pokemon in my party which each held EXP share. thus latias recieved 8 EVs and only got 1/11th of EXP (I think) and with 100 EVS from Vitamins I only had to get 152 EVs More which is only 19 2 EV pokemon and 13 3 EV poke mon
I took for ever but it was worth it and since in this case you could level it up it is possible.
And Thanks to Power Items in DPPl you'd only have to fight 16 1 EV pokemon just think only fight lv 2 bidoofs, starlys, and shinx as well as budew, and geodude, and some very weak tentacool, you've got all you EVs there
Without doing the switch-in thing Ive manage to max out 2 stats by lv 8
So yeah its possible and It adds strategy to the tortament
