This is the set I thinking about using for regionals
Latios  w/wiseglasses
Modest EVs 252 SA 252 HP 4 DF Dragon Pulse Thunder Surf Shadow ball Latias  w/ damp rock
Bold EVs 252 HP 200 DF 56 SP Rain Dance Mist Ball Protect/Recover Helping hand So Latias Is faster so it can start rain dance before Latios goes which boosts surf and Thunder Helping Hand to boost its attack more Protect / recover to Counter surfs damage |

That looks like a really good team. I have Latias/Latios, but one's a lv 100 half-hack, and the other is only lv 41, freshly caught. When are the regionals?

Instead of Wise Glasses, how about a soul dew? You can get it on PBR.

I think they'll work fine together. I suggst that the one with more speed learns Fly and the other learns Surf, so one Flys and the other uses Surf when it's a good chance to KO rack/fire etc. type foes. I do that with my Charizard and Blastoise on Platinum, and my Latis.

Yes but if latias uses fly it can't help latios the nest turn and your foe could just switch in some thing

Yeah, but it works great against rock- and fire-type foes, weak to water. Or teach one Earthquake, if that's possible. Anyway, teach one of them a move that effects more than one foe in a double-battle, and make sure the other lati isn't affected, Like Earthquake and the other lati has Levitate, right?

khoufu made an excellent point in his last sentence.
my Latias knows Earthquake, do the same to yours(minus Mist Ball, sorry, no STAB) than it would really be helpful in the caes where your facing a Taunt(on latias), low HP(on Latias) and really need both to pull out the win. Surf could end your doubling(by killing low Latias) and leave you in case of Focus Sash/Band. Earthquake would be really qood, even if the attack stat isn't focused on. _________________  |
