Welcome to what will hopefully be the first annual Monotype Tournament here on Psypokes hopefully I will get the max number of types which is 17 but the minimum will be 8-14. Once we have enough people to start it off I will make a bracket write down all the types down on sheets of paper and pull them out of a hat to decide who fights who and I will then proceed to PM everyone on whom they must fight. I hope to have this done between two to three weeks. Now time for the rules.

No extreme Hacks, but quick ev training is accepted (no wondertomb, or wondereye, no 252 ev's in all stats.)
No Ubers (Garchomp, and Deoxys-S will be allowed)
All matches will be 6v6 single battle
Focus Sash Clause (which means no doubles of Focus Sash)
Species Clause
Evasion Clause (sandstorm plus sand veil, or hail plus snow cloak abilities are accepted, accupressure also accepted along with metronome)
Sleep Clause
No OHKO moves (unless it comes from metronome)
Movesets must be legal (there will be no Exploding Magikarps in this house)
Competitors will PM me with the result of your match if a discrepancy occurs redo the match, if another discrepancy occurs both people are out.

As you know of a monotype tournament, you sign up by selecting a type of your choice and your team must be at least five sixth's of your chosen type with the last pokemon being anyone pokemon of your choice. I will put this in bold IF YOUR TEAM IN ONE BATTLE HAS MORE THAN TWO POKEMON THAT IS NOT OF YOUR CHOSEN TYPE YOU WILL BE DISQUALIFIED. You are allowed to switch pokemon between battles change up your strategy and the lot.

Now then prizes (Mods I decided to change them for the better because I felt they were a bit lackluster)
1st place gets three EV trained pokemon of their choice with the movesets of their choice held items of their choice with perfect IV's in at least four stats.
2nd place gets two EV trained pokemon of their choice with the movesets of their choice held items of their choice with perfect IV's in at least three stats.
3rd place gets one EV trained pokemon of their choice with the moveset of their choice held item of their choice with perfect IV's in at least two stats.

OOOH! I'd like to enter as a Dragon battler! I'm a dragon Tamer (n that's also my rank) and I'm so glad that Garchom p is allowed, even though Arceus isn't. My team is Dragonite, Garchomp, Charizard, Latios (if it's uber, then Latias), Kingdra, and Altaria. I don't have my DS with me atm so I'll add my FC later. FC is in my sig, and name.

Alright the list has been updated with the list of competitors. Also http://www.wiipals.net/Forum/f37/the-po ... 15943.html follow that tier list but just know everyone Deoxys-S, Garchomp, and Latias without Sould Dew are allowed.

Edit- Despite bugs being my favorite type, Bug-Flying is the only type for the majority of them, and almost none of them have any sweeping potential at all. *cries*

I think all deoxys should be allowed (Normal is the best one to block) because they all are only good with one stat, and they all stink at every other stat. Defense is really easy to defend against, and attack is really easy to hit. Imagine a A-Deoxys vs. D-Deoxys battle.

Btw, theolithical, I suggest Shuckle(rock) and Ninjask(fighting)/Shedinja(ghost), for defense and fighting.

No only Deoxys-S is allowed and none other because Deoxys-D can just outlast anything and can absorb attacks from both ends of the offensive spectrum and with access to recover he is basically Skarm/Cress/Bliss in one pokemon. Now for Deoxys-A and Deoxys-N because they run insane speed plus with Deoxys-A running the highest special attack and attack in the game and Deoxys-N not falling to far behind in that category. Also with them having access to extremespeed its a definite no for them seeing how the trainer with them is sure to win. Also this is the last time to which we will discuss which pokemon are allowed any questions or reasons why you think they should be in it PM and I will consider it MAYBE.

Oh yeah, sorry. is Dragon-type Arceus ok if it's UT? (bad quesition, I now) It doesn't have any really good moves when it's first caught, so can we use it if we didn't teach it any movems at all? Future Sight is a stupid move.

Tyranitar? I have 2 Pupitars, and one's 5 levels away from a Tyranitar. Since it's not allowed at the Championships, why is it allowed here??

EDIT: Oh yeah, I forgot the champships are lv 50-, and there are no legal Tyranitars those levels as it evolves at lv 55. (Dragonite does too, but there was an event of a lv 50 one)

Khoufu everyone can use a T-Tar if they wanted it would have to be a wild card, its allowed in most tournaments. Also if anyone wants to change types just ask me nicely to change to an open spot and I will allow it.

I would think not. And if it is OK to use arceus than I would get to as it is in fact normal type. (Its not)
