NO IDEA!!!

Actually, I do have some of an idea. I picked Yanmega. Ok, here we go. ACTIVIATING NERD POWER.

Froslass' unique type combination and great speed makes it a bit of a worthwhile Pokemon to train. However, when I look at its stats, I don't really see much potential in it. It has great Speed and some pretty decent Spec. stats, but otherwise, meh. Not the most suitable choice. Good for Hail teams though.

Yanmega pwns! Okay, its 4x weakness to Rock makes it dangerous to face a Stealth Rock-based tema, but still, Yanmega is a great Pokemon. It has very high spec Attack and its ability, Speed Boost, gives it the very helpful advantage of Speed. Yanmega, hands down.

I was a bit tempted to pick Gallade. Don't get me wrong, Gallade is an amazing Pokemon. Not only does it look cool, but it has a colorful moveset, the ability to learn Hypnosis (delay its evolution), high Attack, Steadfast, and surprisingly high spec. Defense. What prevented me form suggesting him? Well, he's physically frail and slow. If you don't care about that, pick him, since he's got much less weaknesses.

{froslass}
Thunder Wave
Blizzard
Sucker Punch
Shadow Ball

{yanmega}
Protect
Hypnosis
Bug Buzz
Air Slash

{gallade}
Swords Dance
Ice Punch/Hypnosis/Thunder Wave
Close Combat
Psycho Cut

Now to end this with a searchman52-like...
Good luck, soldier!

What else is on your team?

If you need a physical attacker, Gallade is nice, else I would pick Yanmega for special attacking.

Haven't had much experience with Froslass. But I'm sure she's not a bad choice either.

Like Lordtomato said it boils down to what else is on your team. Out of preference I would say Yanmega because I love him oh so much. But I went with Gallade because he has just a little more versatility than Yanmega, plus if anyone is stupid enough to try a Fake Out on Gallade they will only give him more speed.

My preference has always been Yanmega. 4x weakness to Stealth Rock is unappealing, but if you lead with him, that's not that a big issue. Besides, it's always nice to have a fast sleeper start your team. Gallade is the most physically powerful choice, but he requires a little skill to use. I don't really like Gallade that much, but that doesn't make it bad, I just wouldn't recommend her on personal preference.

I would pick Galllade. I like Frosslass though, but i find frosslass really weak since it can be 1-hit ko'd easily by a super effective move. Gallade is better cuase its one of the only psychic types that is part fighting. Also it has really great attack (it can ko a diagla in 1 hit). also it can have a good moveset. so i say gallade all the way!

I'll pick {froslass} cos it has good type coverage and it's high Speed enables it to Destiny Bond very efficiently. Its mediocre Sp. Atk can easily be taken care of by giving it an Expert Belt since it has a large offensive movepool.
Here's what I mean:

{froslass}
Nature: Timid
Item: Expert belt
EVs: 252 Sp. Atk, 252 Spd, 4 Hp
Moves:
~Destiny Bond
~Ice Beam
~Thunderbolt
~Psychic/Shadow Ball

{yanmega} would have been a great choice if not for the super common Steath rocks which will tear it apart, which means it is highly restricted to the 1st slot in the team, making it a goner once it meets a counter. If you meet a counter on the 1st turn, then {yanmega} would have effectively wasted a slot in your team.

{gallade} is only worth using if you give it a Choice Scarf, which means you only get to choose 1 move before {gallade} faints or before you have to switch. (I'm sure the opponent would send out a counter if your Gallade finishes off the previous Pokemon) Compared with {froslass} which doesn't have to switch and is almost guaranteed to take down a Pokemon or 2 with it, I'd say {froslass} is better.

I would personally go with frosslass as a lead its very effective:

Timid
Focus Sash
252 speed
252 sp.atk
4 hp

Taunt
Spikes
Thunderbolt/shadow ball/ice beam
destiny bond/another attack for coverage maybe

I voted Frosslass. Great base speed, and decent sweeping power if you've got a life orb on her. Destiny bond is also great for taking out anyone giving your team trouble. Frosslass's main fault is its frailty.

I'd choose yanmega, because it looks awesome, and can make a fast special sweeper

mine had speed boost, so it was fast, then the two stabs, were fun. it is very weak against rock though, but I would still go with him

yanmega modest 252 sp.A, 252 speed, 4 hp
-giga drain
-psychic
-bug buzz
-air slash

A better Yanmega would be
Yanmega@Wise Glasses/Focus Sash/Expert Belt
Ability-Speed Boost
Timid/Modest Nature
Ev's 252 Special Attack 152 Speed 104 Defense
Protect
Air Slash
Bug Buzz
Hidden Power [Ground]
Protect on the first turn it is out to gain one speed boost so it can outspeed most non-Scarfed opponents. Then proceed from there. Air Slash is there to deal with Heracross,Breloom, and any other Pokemon weak to the Flying type, as well as providing STAB and a 30% chance to flinch an opponent. Bug Buzz is for the Psychics and Dark types that try to switch in on it. HP [Ground] is for Fire and Steel and Rock (notable Pokemon are Heatran and Magnezone).

{yanmega} @ Choice Specs / Choice Scarf
Tinted Lens Timid / Modest
4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
~ Bug Buzz
~ Air Slash
~ Hidden Power Electric / Psychic
~ U-turn / Shadow Ball

It killed me...in the Battletower in Platinum it was amazingly faster than my max speed Garchomp..

Frosslass will get a kill if used wisely

Stop the necromancy. Last post before today was over several months ago the person obviously has already made their selections. Mods if you could so please lock this down.

I was actually referring to Hippo. for the bulk of it. As for the whole mini modding bit, this is a community forum we can alert people and tell them to stop something if they break a rule that is what I was doing, and asking the mods to shut this particular thread down.

Granted i had made my decision, and overall decided to go with weavile ( :P ), but i dont believe that matters because this is a good way to decide between a fast but overall lower stats pokemon ( {froslass} ), a fast with good special atk. pokemon ( {yanmega} ) and a strong physical attacking pokemon ( {gallade} ).

It shows different perspectives for different national dexed sinnoh pokemon.
