So I've recently decided to begin playing again after a period of about a year, and because of that I've forgotten alot. What I'm basically trying to do is create an Arcanine pyroshuffler. The difficulty I'm having is trying to get its IV's to allow for Hidden Power - Grass. What I'm basically asking for is feedback on this idea and a refresher on how to determine IV's again.

IVs are random, except that half are inherited from the parents in breeding. Getting a specific HP type with a decent power takes a lot of time in game. Either...accept that it will take a lot of luck and time, or use HP Grass on ShoddyBattle.

I don't really have a problem with breeding for IV's I've done it before to get an HP- Ice Infernape. Lucky for me I wrote down how I did it because I knew if I were to stop playing I'd forget haha. I guess what I'm looking for now is feedback on how well you guys this guy will do competitively and what I should use for his fourth move as well as an item. Thanks in advance!

Edit*** Just bred a female Arcanine with Hidden Power - Grass with a power of 54.
