 rare candies in EV training

Post rare candies in EV training
Does it affect the EV's if you use rare candies to level up an egg pokemon to a level like 25 where it can actually battle?

Rare candies/Daycare leveling does not give or change any EVs.

I'm sorry, I meant before the EV's are given. does it still count?

if the poke gained EVs then leveled via rare candy the EV boosts will apply, but if it has never battled and you rare candy/daycare it to lv25 EVs will still start out as 0 just like lv1.
