Post subject:  91.8 The Fan Pokemon Tournament
As a DJ over at the internet radio station, 91.8 The Fan, I would like to let you all know that we will be having a Pokemon tournament. This tournament will run from March 17th to March 21st. This will be a double elimination tournament, with a winner and loser bracket. Those who lose in the first round will have a chance in the loser bracket. The grand prize for the winner bracket will be the choice of either HeartGold or SoulSilver, while the winner of the loser bracket will get the opposite version that wasn't chosen.

Here is a brief list of rules:

All Pokemon will be auto leveled to lv 50.

All battles are single battles, and match-ups will be decided completely at random.

Each match will have a set time and date that must be adhered to.

Registration must be done on the 918 forums, and only those registered on those forums will be allowed to compete, as it is our tournament. Pretty simple.

Only 19 Pokemon will not be eligible, they are as follows:

* Mewtwo
* Mew
* Lugia
* Ho-oh
* Celebi
* Kyogre
* Groudon
* Rayquaza
* Jirachi
* Deoxys
* Dialga
* Palkia
* Giratina
* Phione
* Manaphy
* Darkrai
* Shaymin
* Arceus
* Wobuffet

The following rules are also in effect: species clause(only one Pokemon of each species), OHKO clause(No Horn Drill, Fissure, Guillotine, or Sheer Cold), evasion and accuracy clause(No Double Team, Minimize, Sand-Attack, or Smokescreen) no duplicate hold items.

As a special bonus, on the radio station, we will be interviewing Pokemon related guests, all the week of March 15th, so be sure to tune into the radio. All interviews will be held between 12:00 and 4:00 PST.
