HoD : Comin now
Jolteon: Attract/Substitute > Hyper Beam.
Blastoise: If you are "noobish" enough to use blastoise, you are too noobish to use prediction moves. Switch out counter and mirror coat for rapid spin (spikes problem) and Earthquake/HP Dark/HP Electric
Magmar - Again, fire types are bad to have. Weaknesses to the most common moves kill them (Eq, Rock Slide, Surf). Magmar sort of combats the problems, in that it gets confuse ray and thunder punch. C-ray > Cross Chop. Unless you have a t-tar problem.
Lol, Meganium. Venusaur is better. But, if you must, leech seed > ingrain, and razor leaf/magical leaf/HP Grass > solar beam. Stun Spore/toxic > frustration. Synthesis/Counter/Reflect/LightScreen > Sunny Day
Aerodactyl - @Choice Band. HP Flying > Aerial Ace. make sure to give jolly nature 252 Speed EVs, and the DV spread of 30 HP, 30 Atk, 30 Def, 31 Speed, 30 SAtk, 30 SDef. You need a fast aerodactyl, trust me.
Mr. Mime - you have 2 calm minds. switch out one for trick, and give a choice band for an item. lead with this.

This is my main team... it really sucks for some reason.
When ever I exported to text it gave me a blank txt file. So now I have to type it all out.
@lefties
Nature: Calm (+Sp. Def -Atk)
EVs: 180 HP, 180 Def, 100 Sp. Atk, 40 Sp. Def
Heal Bell
Leech Seed
Psychic
Recover
@lefties
Nature: relaxed (+def -Spd)
EVs: 180 HP, 104 Atk, 96 Def, 128 Sp. Atk
Spikes
Rapid Spin
Explosion
Zap Cannon
I thought the zap cannon set was a cool idea. I can afford the misses cuz of its high Def. It so laughs at skarm.
@ lefties
Nature: Bold
EVs: 252 HP, 58 Def, 64 Sp. Atk, 136 Sp. Def
Ice Beam
Roar
Rest
Calm Mind
My tank... most people expect surf on this guy so Ice beam laughs at dragons, grass, etc.
@ Choice Band
Nature: Jolly
EVs: 252 Atk, 252 Spd, 4 HP
EQ
Rock Slide
Sludge Bomb
Return
@ choice band
Nature: Modest
EVs: 252 Sp. Atk, 252 Spd, 4 HP
Psychic
Fire Punch
Trick
Calm mind
Think of CMs and a 405 sp. atk...
@ lefties
Nature: adament
EVs: 76 HP, 220 atk, 136 Def, 76 Sp. Def
Body Slam
Shadow Ball
Rest
Sleep Talk
I used to have Curse instead of Sleep Talk but I was getting killed by roar. This guy is just awesome. Shadow Ball has KO'd so many Gengars its not even funny.

im working on a new team and would appreciate any suggestions. especially in terms of which common Pokemon my team is weak against.
@ Leftovers
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 108 HP / 78 Atk / 108 Def / 196 SAtk / 20 SDef
Relaxed Nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Earthquake
- Ice Beam
- Psychic
- Rapid Spin
to try and counter two of the most common openers - salamence and jolty. i like psychic there to shock gengars, and i dont like the idea of explosion (besides my gengar has destiny bond which can sometimes do the trick).
(M) @ Leftovers ** Rex
Trait: Sand Stream
EVs: 84 HP / 252 Atk / 172 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Dragon Dance
- Earthquake
- Hidden Power [Flying]
- Rock Slide
thinking of maybe changing hp to bug. still kills ludicolo, but works better on celebi
(M) @ Leftovers ** Ghost
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Spd / 252 SAtk
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Destiny Bond
- Fire Punch
- Hidden Power [Grass]
- Thunderbolt
hp(grass) for swampert etc. this is the one i am most uncertain about. i like it to be very fast to beat other gengars if necessary. any ideas?
(M) @ Leftovers ** Purple Haze
Trait: Water Absorb
EVs: 188 HP / 252 Def / 68 SAtk
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Haze
- Ice Beam
- Surf
- Wish
the jury is out on this one too. other moves i would like to have include substitute and baton pass. but it does make a good dragon stopper. i would also like a bit more special defence, but at what expence?
(M) @ Leftovers ** Blade
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 40 Atk / 120 Def / 96 SDef
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Hidden Power [Flying]
- Spikes
- Substitute
- Whirlwind
pretty standard i think
(F) @ Leftovers ** Fortuna
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Def / 252 SDef
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Aromatherapy
- Seismic Toss
- Softboiled
- Thunder Wave
pretty standard. sp-def EVs instead of hp because its not gonna survive a heck of a lot more attacking moves with 62 extra HP. extra hp just plays right into leech-seeders hands. im also thinking of maybe changing softboiled for wish, and that might free up a slot for vapy.
i would love some suggestions. if this team works well, it works VERY well. if it doesnt work well, then it crashes reasonably hard. there are also many types which are supereffective against two or more team members.

Sorry if you feel offended, I didn't mean to insult you.
Slakings have the abilty "Truant" which makes it possible to attack in 2 turns. Focus Punch can't catch Skarm on switch because it takes 4 turns:
Turn 1- Slaking is loafing around.
Turn 2- Slaking is tightning its focus.
Turn 3- Slaking is loafing around.
Turn 4- Slaking used Focus Punch!
And bout Kingdra, it has bad defenses. I agree, it's only weakness is Dragon but it gets 3HKO'ed by STABed Rock Slide without any boosts.

Slaking's Truant ability doesn't work like that at all. Provided it doesn't get hit in the second turn by the opposing Pokemon, Slaking will attack with Focus Punch during Turn 2. Of course, if you do happen to get hit, you will have sacrificed three turns in a row.
Also, you should note that these are only suggested critisisms from others, so if you do not wish to alter your movesets and such then you don't have to. I think your team is quite alright as it is, [I quite like mixed sweeper sets on those that usually specialize in only either physical or special] so I'll leave my comments at that. I might like to add Double Team is generally frowned down upon in competitive play, as it turns winning into a matter of luck over skill, so I would suggest filling that with another move suggested above.

I know this team needs help because I am missing parts a basic team needs, and I can't find out what they are.
considering that this has ho-oh and would be considered an "uber team" because of it (the uber metagame which means all pokemon. ou means that certain pokemon arent allowed and then it narrows down to UU). I suggest that you consider this when building a team:
2 sweepers
2 walls
2 support
sweepers- pokemon that may or may not set up (like CBers) that are meant to go through opposing teams with relative ease before fainting, like curselax.
walls - pokemon that are meant to absorb hits
support - pokemon that help your team out with wish, reflect, light screen, and other moves like that.
all of these can mix, like skarmory can both support by setting up spikes and phazing, and it can wall because of its good resistances and great defensive power, or snorlax, which can both special wall and set up. think about the types of pokemon that you have and the commonly seen pokemon.

My strategy is to use poison gas on milotic so marval scale activates.
Now milotic should have 324 Def Recover and leftovers will aid in the recovery from the poison gas
Slowbro is a tank
aerodactyl is my physical sweeper
metagross is backup

instead of defense ev's you should run hp. Crobat won't really survive anything anyway

don't use hp flying, it makes your speed dv 30 and that means other aero and jolteon will outrun you. Also lose those defense ev's, aero needs his speed.
