No. The clue is in the words.

OOOHHH Is it Absol, because it and Jirachi were in that one movie and Jirachi is a freaky little alien.

I'll cast a guess on Smoochum {smoochum}, who also follows the last line and relates to the words "sisters" and maybe "fire"? Gotta say, DragoBoy, you have a nice tough round here ;)

Does that make sense now?^

What I've just said has proven this wrong. Plus "sisters" can be misleading. The Pokémon I'm talking about has a 50/50 chance of being male or female. And the clue about "sisters" has nothing to do with the females of this Pokémon specifically.

Post subject:  Re: Who's that Pokemon?

Could it be Sableye? In your signature you have the words "Darkness is Upon Us" written it is a dark type, called the Darkness Pokemon, it has a 50/50 gender ratio.
DragoBoy wrote:
the ghost and I, sisters in practice 'till the fire takes us
it is also part ghost and can learn multiple fire moves.
DragoBoy wrote:
a power of hinderance is mine
It can learn Dream Eater which hinders opponents Not sure about the other clues but I think that's it.

So close! Sabeleye is the "freaky little alien"
??? wrote:
-the freaky little alien and I are of the same sort

Clues gotten:
-Sabeleye is the "freaky little alien" (Wailord_2)
-Not gotten yet (The Pokémon is not a ghost type)
-Not gotten yet (refers to a move)
-Gen II Pokémon that can only be found in Kanto in GSC (ShinyLucario)
-Something to do with the word "Darkness" (Wailord_2 was correct in both aspects of this, except it's not Sabeleye)

Now all you need to find out is:
-what this Pokémon has in common with Sabeleye
-who the "sister in practice" is and why they are going to be burnt ("'till the fire takes us") for their practices (refers to appearance/what they're based on)
-what the "power of hinderence" (or slowing down/momentarily stopping) is (refers to a move)
-And most important of all: "Who's that Pokémon"

Post subject:  Re: Who's that Pokemon?

Could it be Houndoom? Houndour can be caught only on Route 7 (in Kanto) in GSC, is Dark/Fire type, and... That's all I have.

Post subject:  Re: Who's that Pokemon?

For a second there I thought it is Mawile =v=

The answer is Murkrow.
- Have in common with Sableye = Both Dark-types and have Prankster as their DW ability
- Ghostly sister in practice = Misdreavus, Murkrow's counterpart (sorta); Burnt for their practices = Both (Mismagius is more obvious) based on witches
- Power of hindrance (slowing down/momentarily stopping) = Er...Quash, which makes the foe go last during that turn?
- Gen II Pokémon that found only in Kanto = Found on Routes 7, 16, and 18 (all in Kanto) in GSC
- "Darkness" = Beside been Dark-type, it's classified as "Darkness Pokémon"

Author:  DragoBoy [ Sun Apr 22, 2012 2:34 am ]
Post subject:  Re: Who's that Pokemon?

(finally) Correct. Another thing Murkrow has in common with Sabeleye is that they're both of the "Darkness Pokémon" species.
Your turn SL.

- Hehe, I'm not really what I'm based on.

Hopefully that would do it... *shudder* And hopefully I won't have to interview this kind of Pokemon again...

Is it Spinarak
-it waits patiently for prey to get trapped in its web.
-it was purple in GS but Green from Crystal onwards.
-Joltik and Galvantula and learn Spider Web, which was Spinarak's and Ariados' signature move. It can learn Electroweb through breeding with them.
-Learns Shadow Sneak and Psychic. I don't know what the "illusions" refers to.
-In Poképark wii the thread/silk it spits is used to make Piano Wire.
-Not sure: it's the "string spit" Pokémon but it's a spider?

Post subject:  Re: Who's that Pokemon?

Yup, DragoBoy got it right. Just a few extra notes...
- "Without resting" also refers to Insomnia
- BTW, Spinarak also gets ElectroWeb via Dream World
- "Frightening illusions" refers to Night Shade, whose description reads "The user makes the target see a frightening mirage."
- "Not really what it's based on" it only has six legs, not eight as a true arachnid would have.

Is it Lucario? Some considered it legendary in the Lucario movie, it can actually use both physical and special moves, and (I think) it can learn Ice Punch. I'm not too sure of the others.

Post subject:  Re: Who's that Pokemon?

I'm rather sure Shuckle-rock$ got this. Allow me to post my own interpretations of the clues...

-I am rather basic, but not on paper = I thought this would have to do with TCG but most still say it's a "Stage 1" evolving from Riolu, so...?
-You thought I was a legendary? Well I do share a job with two = Used to be thought as a legendary; it's one of the three gem guardians in Pokemon Ranger: Shadows of Almia alongside Cresselia and Heatran
-You're not yellow! and your not one of us either = Eh...its main body is yellow but not classified as "yellow"? And what's with the secret message? Wait...YOUR?! *Grammar police mode activated* <insert rant here>
-My pre-evo is special: it's the only one of its kind to be with its parent = Riolu is the only baby Pokemon to be introduced with its parent... But isn't Togepi too?
-As a baby I used mainly my fists, but now I also use my mind = Riolu mainly learns Physical attacks such as Force Palm (in fact, Sp. Atk is its lowest stat) but Lucario (having Sp. Atk as his highest stat) learns a lot of Special moves ranging from Psychic to Dragon Pulse
-My fists cannot do what my feet can & my fists may slow or cool but never burn = Refers to how Lucario can learn Ice Punch and Thunder Punch but not Fire Punch - but gets Blaze Kick as an Egg Move!

I know my Lucario 8-)

Post subject:  Re: Who's that Pokemon?

OK Shuckle-rock$ got it.
Sorry for the grammar mistake and forgetting Togepi. I was tired, OK. Cut me some slack.
Answers not pointed out by SL:
-"I am rather basic, but not on paper" -Lucario could be basic, like all other other Pokémon with baby evolutions (Except Togetic), as it is unevolved, unless from baby evolution. It is a stage 1 Pokémon in the TCG, probably because it can't be caught and must be evolved from Riolu in the games.
-"You're not yellow! and you're not one of us either" -Talking to you SL

Im guessing Gyarados because Magikarp kind of refers to the dont stop believing part. Gyarados can learn fire blast and hydro pump. And the last one im not sure.

@King_Charizard Sorry, but Gyarados is wrong. Although the part about learning a fire move and a water move is right.

Gack! You stole my next guess! But i will say Snorlax as of it learns alot of moves and kind of counts as being in a maze, because sometimes people think of Kanto, as a maze.
