Try the one that he tweaked to, but if it doesn't work you can try the original one too. Just indicate which one works better, and which one is more HoF worthy, should both perform well.

Which Shiftry set are you referring to? Tell me the page number and I'll go back to check if it's been commented on. Your recent sets are fairly standard to me, so let's see if the others feel they should be tested.

As for tessa's Dusclops/Absol, if you choose to use Absol, have Shadow Ball there for offense. However, if you choose Dusclops to have the better defenses, then make use of Toxic instead. The only problem here is that you lack Mean Look, so the opponent can just switch to a heal-beller and the problem's solved. And in this case, the opponent can also switch to a Steel Type and you can't do anything much anymore. In Absol's case, the opponent can also switch to a Normal Type like, say, Blissey when he or she realises your only offensive move is Shadow Ball. Probably good enough for some testing, I guess. But I'll see what the others think as well.

I deleted the Shiftry, because that was standard, but the Masquerain and Altaria sets, they don't look too standard. Then again, I don't play Netbattle, so I wouldn't know.

The sets aren't that standard for the Altarias, but they are kinda like alternative sets for them. I mean, Dragonbreath is standard, and moves like Swagger, Attract and Rest serve as filler moves for virtually all Pokemon.

What about Masquerain? Most people stick Silver Wind and aerial Ace on that.

I was hoping to see if I could test a few sets?? I do go on Netbattle a LOT. I just tested the Glalie. It works quite well, though it got screwed when a Blaziken got sent out. Still, I'll wait for Snow and paper's decision.

Something close... *holds breath*

Anyways I've been looking for others that can use the set and not that many fit. {dusclops} can learn Mean Look so maybe you could squeeze it in somewhere. {mewtwo} can take the set but in which case you might want to use Psychic instead of Shadow Ball. {nosepass}, {jynx}, {crobat}, {misdreavus}, {murkrow},{sableye}, {umbreon}, {gardevoir}, {muk}, {glalie}, {steelix}* can learn the set as well as Block/Mean Look so you might want to consider that. However the problem arises of who to pick...

* - Offensive moves vary.

And what happened? No one has replied to this thread for about a week. And I thought it was popular... Sorry for double posting but im a bit impatient.

Well, this double-post is fine since you had to bump the post. Anyway, D-bond? I was thinking they'll pwn you anyway, and take your Gardevoir down with them. And if what I think it true, then your Gardevoir simply can't last long enough with its kind of defenses. I think this will have to wait for further opinions as well since I can't decide if it's good enough :?

Strange. Where had WPM, paper, RL and venu gone to...?

Sorry for not being here. School and personal issues.

Gardy wouldn't last, I think. It doesn't have the defenses to back it up. Plus if they're faster than you, you die.

Anyway, I finished Glalie. Pretty good. Good stalling, took out a couple of Pokemon, but the two turns needed to set up kinda killed its average defenses.... it's still pretty good.... but I don't think it's going in.

{linoone} @ Lefties
Adamant/252 Attack 252 Speed 6 HP

Belly Drum
Extremespeed
Shadow Ball
Filler

Belly Drum and Extremespeed to death. Simple.

I'm not sure if Linoone has enough lasting power, plus The foe might have BB, which will probably OHKO Linoone at half HP from Belly Drum.

I'm not sure if it'll work, but someone could test it and tell us how it works.

Also Rest should be the Filler.

(I haven't been around here lately, I've been busy with the Banana Reloaded, Moderating, Graphics Section, Chats, (Soon a Trivia) and a Project.)

I could reduce the workload of the testers dramatically if I were to become a official tester. Anyway, I tested the Tessa's Hariyama. It wrks well if hax comes into play, but Starmie is extremely common and pwns hariyama. It took out a OHKOing smeargle with Endure/Reversal. I'll wait for a second opinion on this.

I'm sorry, but papersun hasn't got to me yet, and this topic being originally his idea. He may have given me the permission to edit the first post and add Pokemon to the HoF, but I think I shouldn't just make the decision to make you a tester. Once he replies, I'll inform you immediately.

I think the Linoone is pretty good. Not really the most creative set I've seen since Rest/Belly Drum/Shadow Ball is as standard as it gets, but Extremespeed over Return is a cool thought. I'll add it to the test list I guess.

{raticate}
endeavor
facade
quickattack / thunderwave
substitute

i have only tried this guy once or twice, though i intend to continue testing... all the tests so far have been successful... this {raticate} is actually there to fill a couple of roles in a team (i like the quickattack to fill the additional role of taking out end/rev'ers as well as a finisher move for endeavor... thunderwave is an alternate attack though, which allows you to paralyze, set up subs until your opponent is paralyzed and cant move, then either endeavor or facade, then if you think you're about to die, you can t-wave your opponent and make em that much easier for your next poke to kill... the quickattack variation takes more prediction, but can be more successful... against faster pokes you have to be able to estimate how much damage you'll take from their attacks... if you think you'll have enough HP left to use sub after you're hit, you use sub, then endeavor, then quickattack and you should have a kill, if the attack is gonna take you below 1/4 HP you use endeavor right away and then quick attack (took out a zam this way)... its great against slow pokes like slow cursers / calm minders / cosmic powerers, you just sub down to low HP, use endeavor, and though you'll die, their poke will die to your next pokes first attack... facade is also on there for prediction to go w/ guts... if you can predict a toxic, raticates facade will reach sweeping power, and itll pwn almost anything slower than it... this little raticate is kinda a jack of all trades counter-poke...

I like the Raticate pretty much, but I'm not sure how well it'll work. I'll add this to the Test List then.

The testing seems to have stoppped though, so be prepared to wait for quite some time before the test results are out.

Like steinerrecliner, you will have to wait for papersun to return so he can give approval for you guys to become testers. Be patient :D

steinerrecliner has a point; so that Blissey probably won't work.

Anyway, please remember to post a short description of your Pokemon's function/strategy, because it's not always very obvious how "creative" the Pokemon is.
