This thread is more of a deeper level of strategy, and not just for any Pokemon that is powerful, hence the term "creative". While your Mewtwo is indeed quite powerful, it ain't exactly creative, so you might want to try the Rating Center instead. Here's the link: http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~psypoke/for ... 61&start=0

i had a Tyranitar, heres his MS

Tyranitar @ Salac
Trait:Sandstorm
EVs:252 Everything(took a lot of breeding)
Hasty Nature(+Spd)
-Crunch
-Earthquake
-Dragon Dance
-T-Bolt

Strategy: Use Dragon Dance bout 2-3 times. Then if you lost health and used the Salac Berry, then use Crunch no matter what. It will usually almost always go first and cause of Dragon Dance, Hasty, Salac, and STAB you will be super quick and powerful and will almost always knock out anyone!!!

Congrats, your breeding* skills are so great that you are doing something which is clearly impossible. :P

* by breeding, I mean gamesharking

I believe that this should be worth posting:

http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~psypoke/lab/evguide.php

And, I was thinking of something:

{gyarados} @ SalacLiechi
AdamantJolly / Intimidate
EV's: 252 Attack; 252 Speed; 6 HP
- Dragon Dance
- Flail
- Endure
- HP Ghost

Up your attack and speed and when you think you'll die, use Endure/Flail.

believe it or not, that actually isnt a "creative" moveset, its just not the most common one....

as for the t-tar moveset, thats basically a boah with a few modifications

Care to explain how you're getting 252 EVs in each stat (1512 EVs total) when the total EVs possible is 510, just over a thousand less than what you apparently have?

i kept breeding till the Larvitar had equal stats in everything, oh yea, i kinda got the Virus PokeRus that hekkped me out alot, and i also gave him Iron, Calcium, etc.

I think you are under the false impression that you can have lots of EVs (i.e. 252 in each stat), but the fact is that you can only have a maximum of 510 EVs gained (in total).

whatever, mayb i got glitch, idk, i just got lucky, my game i bought at GameStop, but i did find a few glitches, like if i had 2 health left, and they used STAB to help them, i still had 1 health left.

Heh... I'm kind of new at this, but I wanted to try. ^_^ So, as usual, there are probably a lot of mistakes.

Ninjask @ Lefties
Lonely/Speed Boost
EV's: 252 Attack, 252 Speed, 6 HP
Moves: Swords Dance, Substitute, Giga Drain, Double-Edge

I figure, most people see Ninjask and think Baton Passer, so maybe I'd have the element of surprise. Sub so you'll survive, then Swords Dance and Double-Edge. Giga Drain is to recover HP. (Would Rest be a better idea?)

EDIT: Oops, I just realized Ninjask is a Hoenn pokemon. You can delete this if you want! ><;

Smergal @ Lefties
Lonely/Speed Boost
EV's: 252 Speed, 252 HP, 6 whatever
Moves: Lockon, Sheer Cold, Mean Look, Recover

This is a very KO pokemon. Mean look to keep them from running. The rest explanes itself. Just watch out for a higher level pokemon since instant ko attacks won't work on higher levels.

Forgot gotta watch out for fighting type attacks

(Bahh just read the smergal listing on page 3, didn't know it was there)

Yumecosmos, this thread is not for Kanto Pokemon only, it just happens to be in Kanto Revisited Section :D

Your Ninjask is fine, but a physical move might be better than Giga Drain, since your Ninjask knows Swords Dance. Not the most creative, but some alternative form of using Ninjask nonetheless.

As for Smeargle, we don't consider any Smeargle set to be creative, simply because Smeargle can learn any move. Sorry about that.

Actually, Snowball, I think it looks good as it is. he's got Double Edge, which exploits the swords dance, and then uses Giga Drain to get back what he lost to recoil. If you can think of a physical draining attack, then that'd obviously be better, but I can't think of any.

The only phisical one is Leech Life, which it can learn, but... whith 10 power, it kinda sucks...

Wouldn't it be better to not use Double Edge in the first place? With two other physical attacks to replace DE and Giga Drain, then relying on Leftovers to heal, seems more effective (but not really much more creative) to me.

How about this Bellossom:

Bellossom @ Salac
Adamant | Chlorophyll
EVs: 252 Spd 129 Atk 129 Def
Swords Dance
Substitute
Sunny Day
Flail / Sludgebomb / Double Edge

First, Substitute, then Sunny Day to get the Chlorophyll boost. Swords Dance, Then pick the attack of your choice. After a few Substitutes or the Double Edge recoil, get the Salac boost. How's that?

Pretty good, I guess. I just feel that Sunny Day tempts the opponent to switch to a Fire type. Also, having a single offensive move is kinda risky. For instance, if you only have Sludge Bomb, your opponent can just switch to a Steel type or something, and you'll become kinda powerless. With the low HP you have due to Subtitution, you would thus be vulnerable to the opponent. Good enough for the test list I guess, but testing is only going to resume in a few weeks time (I'm working on getting additional testers currently; please be patient.)

This really can work if you don't meet Jolteon/Starmie, but after they're gone, this set has some serious late game sweeping potential. Go with Liechi Berry btw since you'll have enough speed after 2 Dragon Dances. Steelix pretty much **** up this set, it will probably Roar you away. But meh, every pogey has his counters right?

This set really has some potential if you ask me.

Sure, I'll add it to the test list (after consideration, of course). Lynx was saying it wasn't really creative, but I think it's good enough even though it's not the most creative

Oh, and new raters/testers are gonna arrive soon :D

Someone test my {espeon} espeon
{espeon}@modest with lefties
Physic
Sunny day
Flamethrower/fireblast
Morning sun

Firstly, Physics is a subject you learn in school. It's a Science subject. It's Psychic. Secondly, Espeon can't learn Flamethrower, nor can it learn Fire Blast.

I'm new at this, but I'll give it a shot.

-Espeon can't learn Fire Blast/ Flamethrower.
-Get rid of Sunny Day:
{espeon} @ Rash with Leftovers (Rash boosts Sp. Attack for the Psychic moves, but lowers Sp. Defense)
-Calm Mind
-Psychic
-Toxic
-Double-Edge

Use Toxic to Poison, Calm Mind to boost Psychic attacks. Then use Double Edge and Leftovers recover the recoil damage. Alternately:

{espeon} @ Modest with TwistedSpoon (Modest works well because it boosts Sp. Attack, but lowers Attack)
-Sunny Day
-Morning Sun
-Calm Mind
-Psychic

Sunny Day to boost effects of Morning Sun, Calm Mind to boost effects of Psychic.

I hope I did so-so on these. This is my first time testing/rating...^_^

By the way, Kayane is one of the new testers for the Creative Movesets Thread, along with Truestar and Skytune. They will begin testing the huge stack of movesets in the Test List, so all those who have refrained from posting due to the lack of active testers previously are welcome to come back and have a go at the Hall of Fame again 8)

PS: Check you PMs, Kayane
