No it should be Shock Wave, icodt (in case of Double Team). But you do pose a good point. - DNA |

The best combo would be Sableye@ Any Item Keen Eye Rest Toxic Sunny Day Moonlight Shedinja@ Any Item Wonder Guard OMIT OMIT OMIT OMIT Gengar@ Any Item Levitate Skill Swap Shadow Punch Shadow Ball Swagger The purpose of this combination is to get Shedinja's ability Wonder Guard to Sableye so that he can't be hit by anthing but hail, sandtorm, toxic etc. The way it would work is you start with Gengar and Shedinja skill swap in order to get wonder guard to gengar immediately making shedinja vulnerable to any attack after having fainted ou would switch out Sableye and once more skill swap to make an invincible Sableye |

iirc, many people have tried Skill-Swapping Shedinja to find out it doesn't work, so that means that the combo is worthless, unless I'm too tired to think correctly. |

daveshan wrote: Wonder Guard- Prevents all damage except from "super effective" hits. I know what you're thinking, "ZOMFG! I can skill swap or role play this into another pokemon on my team and it will be uber-1337!!!!111!!!!eleven!!111!1". Sadly, you're wrong. You can't skill swap it or role play it. Just about everyone has tried and you'll probably go try after reading this if you haven't already and you'll fail. The only way to get this into another pokemon is to trace it first and that means your opponent has to have it and your tracer has to trace the pokemon that has it. Plus, with eight different kinds of attacks possibly coming at you, odds favor that at least one will hurt your pokemon. ~Rating: 1.2 |

daveshan wrote: Wow. That's a pretty good idea. Except for the fact that the sleeping one can be switched out. I'll try thinking about some ways to get around that, though. Just Baton Pass Mean Look, any ways, I have a DB moveset with Gallade and Zam. @ Energy Herb Adamant | Serene Grace EVs : Spd 252, Atk 252, HP 4 Focus Energy Curse Giga Impact Protect @ ????? Modest | Synchronize EVs : Sp atk 252, Spd 252, HP 4 Confusion Focus Blast Psychic Skill Swap Gal uses Focus Energy while Zam skill swaps, Then Zam will use Focus Blast and now with Serene Grace it will have a 70% chance of raising Sp Atk, While Gal uses Curse, Zam uses confusion, which now has 70% chance to confuse, Zam uses Phsycic and Gal finishes the opponet with Giga Impact. |

You guys have my permission to move/edit/delete anything or everything in my guide. I'm just not interested in Pokemon anymore. I've been extremely busy with college. It is pretty good seeing my old guide and all the familiar faces from this forum. Brings back good memories. |

Never ever use neutral nature. Never. Dont't NEVER use it. By the way, this is a nice combo. Gyarados @ Lefties Adamant | Intimidate 252 Att 252 Spd 4 Hp -Taunt/Return -HP: flying -Earthquake -Dragon dance Rhydon @ Lefties/Chesto Adamant | Lightningrod 252 Att 252 Spd 4 Hp (You can try more defensive if you like) -Earthquake -Rock slide -Megahorn -Return/Rest Normal Tauntrados paired with Rhydon. Gyarados Taunts stat-uppers, while Rhydon sweeps with Earthquake an dothers. Earthquake is combo #2. Gyarados is immune to it while it deals lots of damage to opponents (STAB). While Rhydon sweeps, Gyara D-dances. Works. Alright, here's a team I use (and this one is actually good. And don't call me cheap because they're both legends; Zapdos is one of the greatest Flying types): {kyogre} Drizzle @ Nvmeltice, Lonely (seriously, his Atk + 3 = his SpAtk.) Thunder Ice Beam Earthquake Water Spout {zapdos} Pressure @ Leftovers, not sure of nature (has good Atk, SpAtk, and Speed. It would have been Charizard instead but I forgot Drizzle.) Light Screen Detect Shock Wave Drill Peck Strategy: Not much of one fixed. 1st turn, use Light Screen to cut Special Damage (replenish if needed), and use Water Spout or Earthquake to deal massive damage. Zapdos can use Detect if in danger. Other than that, just play type-matching. Kyogre's weaknesses: Grass - Ice Beam or Drill Peck is a quick downer. Electric - That is what Earthquake is for. Additionally Zapdos is immune to it. Zapdos' weaknesses: Rock - Rock is weak to Ground or Water so there's little problem there. Ice - Well, just pile-drive this one. It can do great damage against most types (including Steel), but it can't protect itself from status-causers, but everyone has problems with that. Also I don't EV train so...ah whatever. Rate and comment, please :) . - DNA You forgot the fact that Zapdos is not Physical sweeper... In most cases, HP Ice is just better. Ofcourse Hp fire would cover Ice and Grass but i'm not sure... I would have: -Thunder -Light screen -Detect -HP: Ice/Fire |

I made that post over a year ago =| ... Now I have a better, EV trained team (in Diamond, anyway). I don't worry about Hidden Power because it's too much guesswork for me; I could end up going through 10+ Pokemon and not get the type I want... |

Combo that I found: Medicham @ Salac Jolly Evs: 252 Att 252 Spd 4 Hp -Swagger -Endure -Reversal -Psych up Jumpluff @ Lum Timid/Modest Evs: 252 Spd 96 SpDef 204 Spd -Swords dance -Sub -Leech seed -Hp Flying Idea is, that you first turn S-dance and Swagger. Cham will in second turn Psych up +4 Att. Pluff may also use Swagger instead of Hp Flying. Then you must remove Salac for Lum/Persim which isn't so good thing. But if you do it that way you get in two turns + 6 Att. Now just sweep with Endu/Reve combo. |

{ludicolo} Item:leftlovers Ability:rain dish ~Rain Dance ~leech seed ~Mega drain ~Sweet Scent {crawdaunt} Item:Bright powder Ability:shell armor ~Crabhammer ~Knock Off ~Guillotine ~blizzard Strategy: Ludicolo starts with rain dance , then seeds both opponents . Crawdaunt knocks off enemy's items. Ludicolo start using sweet scent . Crawdaunt now use blizzard/crabhammer to damage enemys (normal this attacks miss sometimes ,but because of ludicolo's sweet scent , they won't) after ludicolo used sweet scent at least 3 or 4 times , crawdaunts start using guillotine , and you enemy's will not be happy anymore! |

But smart opponent just switches to Salamence/T-tar and Dragon dances. Then, you won't smile when they have +4 Att/Spd. |

Post subject: | Re: The New Double Battle Guide *new HoF, new Psybuck prizes!* |
salamance gets a X2 against hit from blizzards , t-tar get from crabhammer even bigger hits( rain dance , stab+super hit) so they still get some decent damage and won't get 4 dragon dances , smile for crawdaunt did you test it out? |
