I got my DS today. Store opened at 11am. I got there at 11:10, grabbed one of the 3 remaining at 11:12, and was checked out at 11:14. Wiped out my birthday fund (party was yesterday, actual birthday on Tuesday, if you want to send a gift ;P). Anyway.

I'm loving the DS already. It's currently charging, and I'm currently draining the batter by using it. Oh well. Pictochat is fun, even though I have no one to chat with. However, we do have a wireless modem here, so, I could chat around the world with it if everything was set up right.

So, do you think we should arrange ways for us to all connect via DS and WiFi? I think it'd be pretty cool myself.

I haven't played the Metroid demo yet, but I'm not much a fan of the series anyway. Still, it looks cool. More on that when I've had a chance to play. For now, I'm off to get some ramen and let this thing finish charging.

congrats Jiggz and an early happy birthday. Im going to wait till Nintendo starts selling different colors like BLACK But I played with one at Toys'r'us the other day and I liked it.

I do agree about the colors. I'm not a platinum/silver fan, but oh well. Maybe Gamestop or something will let me trade in for one. I keep stuff in good condition, so..

I'm not sure if Gamestop/Funcoland will let you trade, they're pretty money hungry (well around here).

I'm not really interested in the DS, but I may get it in the future.



I like the regular colors like, BLUE, GREEN, RED or maybe even WHITE (Is it just me or is the regular font the same as the White Font?)

I got mine today, but it is my Christmas gift so I can't open the sucker for a month. >< But, then again I know where my mom is hiding it. So eh - I just hope they release ACDS in January and if you look on the back of the DS box it says Pokemon Dash is coming soon - which kind of surprised me, but oh well. Have fun Jiggz.

It comes out sometime in January here (after Chirstmas for all you Jewish folk), so that is very bad... , now I need to wait until July until I get one, though by then all the 'good games' will be out.

O well, I am still looking forward to my FFX-2 game and my brand new, colour graphics calculator.

I want to get a DS, but I'd most likely have to either buy it myself after Christmas, or like JBs-pikachu, wait until I get it for Christmas. Either way, I'm sure I'll get it, but I'm rather glad I didn't get it at launch, as the better games will come out later. (for example, the full version of Metroid Prime: Hunters, or Animal Crossing DS) Though I won't care about color unless it's something hideous like hot pink.

... :roll: I think I'll have to wait a loooooong time till I'll be able to get a DS...

I'm living in Germany, and we yet don't even have an exact date when it comes out...

I'm sure I'll get a DS this year, but wowie! They sure are expensive. If I don't get one for Christmas... I'll probably have to wait until the price goes down, but by that time they'll probably have a better system coming out, so scratch that. >.< Anyway... I don't really care for the colors, as long as I have the system... I don't care what it looks like. XD

I heard about pictochat. It sounds neat! If you can chat with people around the world... would it be possible for you to chat with any of us with that thing? If we had it set up right and all...? That would be cool. ^_^

I think I'll get a ds when 1) the price goes down, and (2) when they start coming out with a bunch of games that would interest my tastes.
