I haven't really read through the entire guide yet, but seems good from what little I've read. Stickied. :D

PS: I'll read the rest when I have free time :P

Try putting an adament {flygon} in the pyramid's example team. It can resist the grass types in the higher levels, and is proof against the earthquakers in the later challenges. It's actually very handy. Also, just as a general tip, try to have at least one pokemon of the different sex in your party. Or have a sexless pokemon, or a pokemon with Oblivious. That way you aren't stuck against someone with Attract. I like this thread! :)

Well... I've found that Flygon can be hurt a lot more dangerously in the Pyramid than a Dugtrio, seeing that I had raised a Flygon. However, I do realize it can be better in some areas. That's pretty much why I added a section where people could post their ideas/teams. Thanks for the advice though.

If you don't have a team for the Flygon, I'll assume it's a Physical Sweeping set and add it to the Example if you'd prefer. (I'd suggest the team)

very great man. But in the Battle Pike section do you plan to list the clues that teh lady gives you such as "I get the feeling of Nestalgia" and stuff? Try to find the similarites between each saying and waht's behind it would help.

Everything else is great! Thanks a bunch :P

Okay... and it's been updated in a few extra places. I might add a few Example Teams later on... but feel free to post before I edit some more in.

Edit: Another update, although relatively minor.

Thanks...

Another update to the guide: I added a new section that will show when I last updated the guide. It's found at the top and called "Last Update". When I update the guide (no matter how minor), I'll review it there as well.

In the Battle Pyramid part, {starmie} do not have the Volt Abosorb ability.
Anyway, I found it extremely effective with my Nature Cure {starmie} with special moves, Nature Cure {blissey} with Softboil and a {mr. mime} with Trick. Simple tactics. If you want items, put {mr. mime} in the first slot and Trick the trainer's items. Use {starmie} to sweep thru. If the HP is going red, use {blissey}'s Softboil. While {blissey} is going red, just encounter a wild and Softboil itself. And this team is no need to worry about status problem, as two of them have Nature Cure. Those Hyper Potions are rubbish.

Whoa... yeah. I didn't realize that I put Starmie with Volt Absorb. I'll also add the part about Trick. The Softboiled part was up there though. Thanks, I'll get to updating it soon. :)

Well... I don't really know how to say this, but that isn't entirely a great team for the battling styles or battling in general. Although with most of the Battle Frontier opponents other than the Brains aren't really too smart at battling anyway, but it doesn't entirely make the cut.

A few things:

In general: They could have Items, Natures, and specific EV's. If you need the guides, check the main site.

Latias: HM's are bad. Except Surf when it comes to battling. Fly isn't too bad when it comes to the Arena though. Flash may lower opponents accuracy, but only 50% of the time. Not a good risk. Double Team is much more effective. Swagger may confuse, but it does up attack. If they get out of confusion, that's pretty bad. You may also think that the combo of Swagger, Flash, and Fly is pretty good, but it doesn't cut it most of the time.

Aggron: Rock Smash isn't a good move. It has base 20 damage and 50% lowered Defense doesn't help. Two attack moves of the same type also is bad; it lowers your chances for taking on a type you're weak to. Also, Aggron's Spec. Attack isn't good. Thunder also isn't worth it without Rain Dance.

Wailord: 3 Water moves and Strength. Dive is weak and waits a turn, Water Spout is bad when you're hurt badly, and Strength is easily topped by Return.

Dragonite: Two Water moves. Waterfall isn't as good as Surf, and it's a Direct Attack. Dragon Rage does 40 damage. Dragon Claw has Base 80 and STAB. It can do way more than 40 damage.

Tyranitar: Thunder's not great without Rain Dance, and Blizzard is inaccurate with bad PP. Fly is only worth it in the Arena.

Articuno: Two Ice moves and Ice Beam's a lot better than Blizzard. Hyper Beam wastes your next turn, and that's bad.
~

All in all, if the team has serious problems, I won't add it. :?

It depends on the situtuation you're in, but the set usually works better with the Liechi. Either way, it'd be hard enough to get enough Liechi's to use them for the Frontier. So yes, you can replace them.

Personally, I don't even have a Liechi on my Emerald. :P I just use other items like Leftovers, Shell Bell, or a Lum Berry.

Yes, naturally. A few things though. Sceptile should be fast enough to not need Agility. It could use Thunder Punch instead to help sweep. Your Swampert could also hold a Chesto Berry to wake it up when you use Rest.

But either way, I'll add the team to the list. If the small changes aren't fine with you, just post. (I won't add it yet; I'm a little busy at the moment)

Thunder Punch only requires about 54 Battle Points (not exactly sure). But you could probably use something like Swagger, Substitute, Leech Seed, or Attract for the other move if you don't want Thunder Punch.

And I forgot to add in the other post, the Blaziken could also use a Scope Lens if you wanted the extra critical hit.

Anyway, do you want me to include which version of the team. I'd prefer knowing the right one, rather than putting up the wrong one and having to change it. (Not that I'm lazy) :P

How many Battle Points do you actually get for beating a trainer? I'm going for Rock Slide (48 BP). What place is best to get BP easily?

Depends on what you're good at. The Pyrimid get 5 BP for every time you beat it, Tower gives you progressivly more and more points (take the number of battles you've completed and divide it by 7. That's you're points (i.e, 21 battles = 3 BP)). The Palace is 4 BP, the Pike is 1 (I think), as well as the Arena (again, I'm not certain), the Factory is 3, and the Dome starts at 1 and increases by 1 every two championships. All of these figures are what you start at. As you do more rounds, you will get more points until you are defeated. Then you go back to the bottom for points gained. Please tell me if these are wrong; I'm pretty sure, but not certain.
